part of this is true... others parts are not

When it comes to soy... or any bean or grain it can be harmful (this includes rice). The problem with soy is in the preparation. All grains, beans, and legumes need to be boiled in water for at least an hour before consumption, or be allowed to germinate. Seeds require water to grow... and this is part of natures process.

If the seeds are not boiled for an hour, or germinated... the effects of eating the seeds is degenerative.

What part are you saying is not true?

This is mainly aimed at the massive soy milk consumption, anti nutrients, hormone imbalances, infant formulas, gmo, and soy protien isolate problems. If you read any of Mrs. Fallons material you will learn alot about how grains, seeds, nuts and legumes have been prepared for thousands of years and why they need special treatment. Some of these include soaking, soaking in acidic or alkaline solutions, and fermenting in order to access nutrients and make the substance digestable. Not just cooking for 1 hour.

Its good to hear all 4 parts as an intro but it wont give the whole story.

I have not viewed the video, but it is interesting to note that if you look back at the past, at least in the US, the change over from using soy oil in place of palm kernel oil or coconut oil, the health issues facing us have grown exponentially in terms of asthma, diabetes, obesity, autism - the list could go on. Being is absolutely correct in his assessment of soy. A little bit of study into the historical political ramifications of the soy industry taking control of the fast food industries' use, and therefore, overall household use of soy products should be alarming to all. The body metabolizes fats according to the types of fatty acids it contains. Short chain and long chain fatty acids are similarly utilized by the body. However, medium chain fatty acids behave altogether differently - to our body's benefit and not detriment. Coconut, or palm kernel oil, is a medium chain fatty acid. In most cases the regular intake of coconut oil can actually eliminate the disease or condition altogether. Coconunt oil is also an anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It's benefits are not only observable with internal usage, but have a great many benefits externally as well. However, you should make certain that the cocount oil you purchase is expelled using natural methods, not chemical. I purchase mine from a Phillipine company that uses hand expelling and it does not include the smell or taste of coconut to interfere with its overall use in my galley.
