Re: Be here NOW
Rhythm and others have said that the light rays of change and re-alignment are very strong at the moment.
It is certainly appears to be easier to drop the past and move forward with a lighter heart at this time, which is an important part of the coming shift. Certainly it has helped me. Take advantage of it now. You can, right now, throw off the past which is dragging you down and that heavy heart is gone. I have done this, and am very happy as a result. Enough of the past. A question from the unwashed.....what is a "spiritual" person? Is it important? If so, how do you become one? Do you have to be "spiritual" to take advantage of the coming times? I have been so diappointed with people who have been billed as "spiritual" recently. Can someone tell me what "being spiritual" is? Does it matter? I have been re-reading important works which keep jumping out at me right now. Hermann Hesse's writings are a great example of how i feel right NOW. Listen to his advice, written almost a century ago: "Life passes like a flash of lightning. Whose blaze barely lasts long enough to see. While the earth and the sky stand still forever, How swiftly changing time flies across man's face. O you who sit over your full cup and do not drink... Tell me, whom are you still waiting for?" From "Klingsor's Last Summer" As Rhythm's thread says, "Be Here Now"! |

Re: Be here NOW
Nice reply Rhythm, so what you are saying is that a truely "spiritual" person is just someone who loves, gives, smiles, is nice to be around.....i can work on that!!!
My problem relates to the "spiritual" tour i went on recently to the mayan temples, which was lead by a so-called "spiritual" person who was in fact so self-congratualatory, so "superior", so egocentric, so consumed by the "fame" she had found, that she was no longer "nice", no longer had a warm "energy" around her (if she ever did), no longer interested in helping people (if she ever did).....it upset me and made me question where i "was". Where i had "reached". She increased one's sense of failure, fear etc etc, rather than increasing one's self worth, or giving direction....And the people surrounding this so-called spiritual person were taking my energy, they were mostly "lost souls", searching for something you can only find within, not from some egocentric superior "spiritual" person.... I guess i'll just have to help myself. I feel that i can raise this final "question" about life here on planet earth on your thread because it is a wide ranging thread, like the Exchanger's thread where all kinds of thoughts can be raised.... I want to be assured that just because i am a "normal" person, and not a monk or someone who is "called" or something, or a so-called spokesman for some alien race i will be ok..... By the way, the light pulses are very powerful at the moment. I couldn't sleep last night. What on earth is going on? |

Re: Be here NOW
Piers you dont need to work on that
cos you are already that .. you seem to have said that we can have the label if it means we are warm loving caring ? but who will , then need this label ?..... you my friend have a very heathy view , all we can do is be our self in all honesty , then of course we have to take responsibity no one said this is the way you have to be the way in and of your own knowledge no tarot cards no rune stones no fortune teller can tell you what you must find in you finaly , in your power ..... a non dependent .... at ease in life human being...Ah.. to be free eh!!! hope to get some others views i tryd once before i think with only one responce.. come on guys kick up some dust on rhythmms thread cant allways be nicy nicy , not even me |

Re: Be here NOW
Rhythmm Contemplating ommmmmmmm.
going deeepeeerr weeeeeeeeee So let us ,and that seems to me and piers at the moment ...loverly.. take a deeper look at labeling !!! 1 .what is its purpose 2.do we need it hmm complex when you examine it deeper ! If as i believe there is only wholenasss with no seperation then there would be no need to label as there would in a sense be no things to label just what is.. i can see this is going to take a while . Lets take a rug of many colours if we had no labels never learned this is a rug and these are pattern and these are colours this is its size ect ect would that make a life for us , hmm not sure where this is going Well keep going girl .. the mind, this life , is it only made up out of how we label it ? a chair is only a chair as we have labeld it of course its realy an energetic construct does the chair know its a chair heheheheh you know what i may have to go and have another contemplate . I will be back with purpose and meaning , i hope ,hahaha eny visitors , thro in your 10 cent worth be nice part two. sooon me loverlys xxxxx |

Re: Be here NOW
Part two .
purpose and meaning !. The pupose is to give meaning...... i know that is very simplistic but it realy is my answer here to teach us the things we need to learn ... I think there is a dislike of this labeling when it is addresed at ourself like our name , when deep in us we know we have no name , i sopose i dont want to be labeld as a person a type if you like in a box keeping me confined conditioned , realy that feels so tunnel vision.... no label out of he box . I often askd why im called rhythmm and tho it was not my given name it is what i m called by all who know me , i tell them rhythmm is who i am not what ... friends im starting to feel a little self indulgent here now i am only responding to the question . and piers it looks like its me and you on this one ... so i look forward to your interaction .. im feeling there is further to go on this i need some reaction to take it further ... of course im open to change my mind and dare i say find my self wrong leaving a place to find a highter truth and then grow ..... hmmm love to GROW .......... |

Re: Be here NOW
Piers, your experience of the "spiritual" tour sounds a bit similiar to some of my experiences when I first 'woke' from the dream of humanty!
I kept trying to join groups to be around like minded people and to learn more. Mostly I found a sort of spiritual ego and not very advanced learning. So, I went back to my books and stayed solitary in my learning for many years. I was quite specific in my intent, it had to be truth and nothing but truth, so mostly old esoteric books were where I gleaned knowledge from. I also knew that it was also the application of knowledge in my life that was key. Unless I made changes in response to what I was learning it was only intellectual philosophy and not wisdom. Wisdom is only gained by experience. I eventually found the Ramtha School and that resonated and challenged me in all my areas of learning, of life. It was like remembering something that I'd partially learned in other lifetimes. I recognised the old warrior and knew I'd known him somehow before. Talking about living in the Now rhythm, I must have spent a whole year where every book I was studying, to me, was about staying in the now. To me the NOW is a stargate into the spiritual/higher realms. It is where our connection is to our Great Self and our infallable guidance is. It is also the eternal. Love this thread, it is soo uplifteing. Love and Light Carmen |

Carmen...
At last SOMEONE has answered my question in terms i understand. Thanks! I looked at the Ramtha website but it still seems way too complex for me! Anyway,....I will not worry about the "tag" spiritual....if someone announces themselves as "spiritual" i will run for the nearest exit! I still love this life. xx |

is its own life... In truth there is no self that has a life to realize this is to fly beyond the realm of suffering, even tho life continues!! |

Re: Be here NOW
Well rhythm, I'll take the bait that you have cast into the waters of Avalon.
In the early years of my adolescence, I had over a space of five years, about as many girlfriends. Then I met my first wife and was sure she was "the one." Our relationship had its ups and downs which I came to understand was quite normal. Deep down inside I was slowly beginning to realize though, that something didn't feel quite right. A bit like riding a bike and having that ever present fear that a wheel was going to come off. It took just four and a half years for that wheel to finally come adrift and we separated. I vegetated for about six months before dipping my toe in the waters of romance again. After another two years and a dozen relationships, I finally found a woman whom I thought was perfect. Now my first wife and I would have at least two flaming rows a week - this woman and I lived together for some six months and never even had a difference of opinion. Perfection was how I would have described our relationship - and we all know that perfection is not attainable don't we? Sure enough, before the end of 1963 she had married her fiancee. Was I staggered? Of course I was. Then in 1966 I met my present wife Elaine. She was nice, understanding and above all, as honest as the day was long. We were married in December 1967 and I can stand up and say with pride, that I had once again, found perfection. The difference being, that this time it has lasted. In the forty odd years of our marriage, we have never argued. Sure, we have different opinions about some things, but hey, that's only human. I don't try to force my opinions down her throat and she doesn't try forcing hers down mine. So my answer to your question rhythm, is that "Yes the perfect relationship is attainable." Both Elaine and I have found our soul mates - we have the same thoughts on many topics, and often make the same comments in unison. Can't improve on that. |
