I certainly hope this isn't true, or at least no war ends up happening. I recently took a job in South Korea to get out of the US for a bit (and to change my income from the soon to be worthless US dollar), and one of the nicest people I have met out here happened to be an Iranian; so for his sake, and those of his family and friends, I will direct whatever positive energy I can to this situation. But moreover, I hope I can do something proactive in this endeavor.

You made a series of very definite statements. You say nothing we do can change this. That's not what quantum physics says, or metaphysics. Everyone present at an event participates in creating that event, even if they are not major players. This is a world event we're dealing with, and we are here, so we are aware that we contribute. Please excuse my negativity right now. I understand quantom physics but i also understand variables and probabilities.

Id just like to know realisticly how we are going to achieve peace when the odds are so incredibly stacked against us.

We are all on the same timeline, i dont believe that the world will change for one and stay the same for others.. sorry to bring a downer on this thread i just feel ... ahh i feel like i wake up every day and am lying to myself when i say everything will be ok.

I wish i knew what i could do. If there was anything i could do i would be out there doing it right now. I admire Bill and Kerry so much for this.. I dont have the financial backing that they would have because im only young.

And i know if i was doing something i wouldnt care what would happen, id be happy that i made an effort.. i just can figure out what there is i can do.

Have you read the book "The Field" by L. McTaggart? It covers it in that.

Also look up "water meditations" "water crystals" intention is everything.

The water mediated on with love / thank you / friendship etc forms beautiful crystals... Hate /war / anger etc forms distorted! FROM THE SAME SOURCE OF WATER!!!!

I got goose bumps all down my spine with the ladies story about the car accident... I recently gave someone reiki for 20 minutes or so after I passed a scene as I felt fear and negativity there and wanted the light to help all involved.

It seems that a global consciousness, like any of us individually, might profit from some good feeling. Most of us know how powerful a smile can be. Walking down the street, we meet someone who is smiling and the natural inclination is to smile back. Let us extend this delightful experience to the simple and elegant metaphor of a "Planetary Smile". It is vision that can work for any group organizing to meditate or pray for peace and for the earth. An intent to image, create, and be instrumental in a Planetary Smile symbolizes our potential for conscious evolution toward universal humanity.

What would it be like to gradually recruit pretty much every person on the planet to join in a planet-wide smile? I can imagine the Earth herself would feel that, and it is easy to imagine that we all might be changed just a little, for the better, by such a shared experience. What is amazing to consider is that we can aspire to accomplish the organization and inspiration to do such a thing.
