I'm British i remember labour getting in after years of the conservatives everyone went mad, a young Tony Blair was what we needed everyone said with fresh ideas and a family man with a young family at that, how wrong we were!!! Labour has led us to where we are today!

yes the conservatives were a lot to blame for losing our identity but as far as i can see when labour took over they continued on where the other party left off.
These parties never make a change they simply get the next puppet in office and carry on with their scams.
I too noticed the dress, now whether it was a conscience thing for her to wear that dress with it's symbology we will not know or perhaps she was dressed by somebody who had other factions in mind this could have been a code of sort for those who read these things.
Even the layout of the stage, with the eagles each side of them and the apex roof of the building which stood in front of them all symbology won't go into all that, but if you cast your eye around somewhere i bet there was a BIG obelisk right beside them.

My point exactly, this is getting old, my two daughters are black if you like to know, so sorry for being so blunt. Most of the comments are border line racial. If you notice Jamaica has not posted anything in the caribean section
in quite a while. I love you guys you know that, you are free to say what you want and so do I. Negativity breeds negativity which is the point of my post, maybe a bit extreme. The way I grew up is that if you have anything negative you want to tell a person you tell it to his face.

I hate politics, and to correct any false assumptions I know about corrupt politicians first hand, even in PR the govenor Anibal Acevedo Vilar has 24 criminal Federal charges , many politicians have gone to jail in the Island for corruption. I do believe we as people, one by one, family by family, we can make a difference. This is what I teach my children. Politicians do not make a difference, People do !!! One million volunteers is what help Obama win.

Hey guys you are taking yourselves too serious, we are living in some tuff times most of us are working our butts off and can hardly make ends meet.
My company who move to St. Kitts and Mexico pays these people less than two dollars an hour. There's so much injustice going on in this world, I want to change this reality not only for me but for my neighbours around the world.
Maybe Obama is full of hot air, what exactly is you guys solution to all these injustices. The only thing you guys are feeding me in these threads is alarms about the evil PTB. This is an old too familiar song, what I am not hearing is solutions to the problems we are facing in this world. Below is a post I wrote in a thread I created in the Avalon NEWS section and I am reposting it here to try to broaden and widen the discussion/understanding of the 'bigger picture' now in play, since it seems the 'dress issue' is opening up some wounds here.

If you have seen this already I apologise, however I offer it again only as food for thought...

The thread I created and the title I used has certainley set the cat amongst the pidgeons over there and before to much mud slinging occurs over here let's pause for thought, I hope this will ease some tensions here...

This thread was not created to become a discussion of the political process of our times, it did not place any worth or value on the state of politics, or even the existence of a political system or the point (or not) of having any political leaders.

However some of you seem to have missunderstood my title and or my reasons for creating such a thread and have focused only on using it as a platform to verbally assasinate Obama and anyone who wishes to express joy or hope at this moment.

This my friends is a foolish and small minded folly on your part and as I said in my previous posts - 'AS YOU THINK SO YOU CREATE'!

So let's clear up a few points:

It does NOT matter if Obama is controlled or not, it does not matter if the entire Global Economic System fails under his command, it does not matter who did or didn't fund him, it does not matter if he is or is not the Anti Christ, it does not matter who is or is not behind/guiding him - Zebrig, BigZig or ZigZag or Lord of the Dark Dance ZogZog Zigzogadon, It does not matter if he creates paece or tries out war options....
I could go on and on but let me spare you all and get to the point:

The bigger, BIGGER PICTURE, when you come out of all your silly accusations, petty judgements, squabbling and nit picking point making, some of which I have to say you 'doom and gloom crew' is utterly pointless and pathetic...The bigger picture is....sssshhhh now don't tell everbody coz (whisper) some people are just not ready to hear this yet...

The BIGGEST 'wide screen cinema sound surround system' version of THE BIG PICTURE...IS...

"THAT IT'S ALL MEANT TO BE HAPPENING"!!!!!

If the so called 'system' meaning political, financial, monetary or anything that has 'power over us' is meant to fail to allow the current paradigm to 'collapse in on itself', then Obama or no Obama it surely will.

If Obama is meant to 'play for the dark team' and bring America to it's knees, then he absolutely will and that will become self evident in the months and years to come...and it will be EXACTLY as it's meant to be!

The point is simply this: The fact that he has been elected is THE POINT, not what you think you know or think about him...This moment IS a 'signal' that THE CHANGE has truly begun and WHERE we collectively CHOOSE to go with it now is what actually matters and will determine Mankinds Future!

Yes the world is going to change enormously over the next few years and no it probably won't be pretty or comfortable for many. Yes you middle class Americans may lose your businesses and I am sorry and all that, but do you think your wage packets count for a sausage in the higher order of things. Do you think your eternal soul cares for a moment about the THINGS of this earth?

The 'False Prophets' some of you are ranting on about...Did any of you stop to consider 'False PROFITS'? Look at all the greed and hoarding of wealth and objects in the world and some might say Americans are at the top of this money, money, money need and greed idolatry. Just look at how the 'Cult of Celebrity' has been used to trick you all into thinking you need to 'be like them', to have more and more.

Cars, houses, pools, designer labels, mega cribs, and so on and so forth...you have been decieved at the highest order, in plain site, under your very nose and you just don't geddit...THE False Messiah IS MONEY!!!

But the trick has gone on for so long and has been so all encompassing and impressed into your psyche for millenia that you cannot even see the magicians hand at work.

So on and on mankind has gone wandering in a garden of trinkets and thing's, misguided, lost, stumbling over one another to aquire more and more wealth and slowly over time with this pursuit of the external we LOST the key's to the kingdom.

The illusion is that the anwser lies out there somewhere, that we can somehow find happiness in the material world, that the 'secret key' can be found in some thing, some one or some place...

Obama and his like are just portents of a far wider, bigger and deeper change than any of us can yet imagine and he like all the others is here at this time to play his 'catalystic part' in our collective process. Someone very clever once wrote "All the world is a stage and everyone upon it is playing his part"...

Try to remember we all chose to be here and PLAY OUR PART in the game of life so our souls would grow and develop, Obama is just playing his part and to judge him is to judge yourself, to hate him is to hate yourself, to despise him is to despise yourself, to have disgust for him is to have disgust for YOURSELF! WE ARE ONE, HE IS YOU, YOU ARE HIM!

Money as a system has to fail because it is at the very heart of what controls mankind, or at the very least be completely reset in the hearts and minds of men. Obama may be the harbinger of Revolution or Devolution it matters not which he is, the point is only that 'CHANGE IS COMING and EVERYTHING IS EXACTLY AS IT IS MEANT TO BE'!!

So for goodness sakes lighten up guy's, some of you definately need a break from your computers and take something for your New World Orderitous, or you might just die while your still alive...."Step Away From The Vehicle". Haha lol.

I just departed from Avalon as the fire was heating up to join the camelot truth seekers. As soon as I saw the title of the thread it put a smile on my face as I too gaze for occult illuminati symbolism that slaps you in the face like a wet fish.

Ms Obama appeared onstage at the huge Chicago rally wearing a black cardigan over a scoop-neck black sheath with splashes of red in the upper and lower half separated by a band of black at the hips.

The outfit was a slightly modified version of a dress presented by designer Narciso Rodriguez in September for the 2009 spring season.

"I voted for Obama, but I didn't vote for that dress," mother of three Jessica Bettencourt from Wisconsin told The New York Times.

"I don't know what was worse," Chicago lawyer Karla Wright told the paper, "that stupid criss-cross band around the middle or that black, sort of, border coming up from the hem."

But not all comments were negative.

"That dress was unpretentious," Julie Gilhart, fashion director of New York's top-price Barneys clothing store, told the Times.

"It said, Be who you are - don't let someone else tell you how to be.'"

The Italian daily La Stampa dubbed the dress "the look of victory" and said the black symbolised mourning for Mr Obama's grandmother, who died on the eve of the election, while the red was for passion.

A contributor to the website of the German newsweekly Focus also suggested there was hidden meaning in the colours, perhaps red for the political left and black for the first African-American to win the US presidency.

"It is more about the symbolic effect of the colour combination red/black. Because the daughters were also in red or black. Very unusual and surely no accident," the reader said.

Others were dismissive, describing the subject as superficial besides the historic importance of Mr Obama's election win.

"The USA must be doing pretty well if it is worrying about the first lady's dress," one typical Focus posting said.

One fashion expert described the interest attracted by the frock as "depressingly trivial ... and yet fascinating" because of what it told us all about Ms Obama.

"You may like or dislike Michelle Obama's dress, but that's not as interesting as the agenda behind it, because you can be sure there was one," wrote fashion editor of the London Times Lisa Armstrong.

"This was one of the most choreographed First Family-elect appearances in history," she said, adding that "even seven-year-old Sasha Obama had been dragooned into that monochromatic colour scheme."

Carola Long of the London-based Independent said Ms Obama's fashion sense was a far cry from the traditional first lady look "reminiscent of the uptight Bree from Desperate Housewives," a reference to the popular television series.

"The presidential race may only just have come to an end, but the battle for fashion supremacy was sewn up months ago," she wrote.

Whatever the significance of the dress, one thing is certain - the world is going to hear much more on the subject over the next four years.

My company who move to St. Kitts and Mexico pays these people less than two dollars an hour. There's so much injustice going on in this world, I want to change this reality not only for me but for my neighbours around the world. Maybe Obama is full of hot air, what exactly is you guys solution to all these injustices. The only thing you guys are feeding me in these threads is alarms about the evil PTB.
