For anyone leary of online romance, its good to be cautious.. However...... after having the worst 2 yrs of my life, spiritually,physically, and emotionally drained, I prayed to the sky, and god that I was ready to find who I was suppose to be with. (after giving up the dating thing after being divorced almost 10 yrs) I place an ad on a singles site, and, within 1 week, I met my soul mate. Also a ground crew member. He is my miracle. We met, fell in love, and married 2 months later. we have EVERYTHING in common. We are to this day, blissfully happy. We will absolutely be together forever. So, it can happen. We are in our 40's, 4 kids between us, and it is truly a miracle. I searched the planet, was willing to travel to wherever he could have been, and yet all this time he was a ten minute drive from me. back, when it was a simple modem, and, a telephone line,
and, a chat relay ...we have communicated, with quite a few people,
over the years, however, most of them send pictures,
that are decades earlier, than current NOW time,
and, there are even some, who send pictures,
they likely would NOT want their mother
to know they are sending

most of these dating sites,
men have their hands into so many different cookie jars,
that, personally, we think, many of them become addicted,
to so much attention, from so many different directions,
and, they become, almost professionals at 'ad writing'
and, 'have canned responses'
and/or, they play their responses
as, a mirror off your response
and, in fact - they are NOT anything remotely like they appear in writing

there are some people, on some of these dating sites,
who have been utilising the same pictures,
for the past 10+ years

we'd rather meet a person
in person, that way, you see, eXactly,
what you might be in store, to get ~
my advise to anyone utilising the internet to find a date
is get them to come online, utilising a web cam
(right away)
and, watch for the 'mirrored back-canned responses'
without any of their own creative input

if it sounds to good to be true, it likely is

and, if they send you pictures, they'd NOT send their mother
you should cease communications, with them, immediately ...
as, it is very likely they've sent the same pictures to 101 other woman
and, believe me, those type of guys are NOT worth
giving them an oz. of your energy

I have heard so many stories like both of the above statements, and I guess it is all in the energy attraction level...
1) if you are ready for the challenge of merging your life with someone in a caring and giving manner,
2) if you are willing to be accepting of the other person's quirks and preferences,
3) according to the connecting (neighboring) levels of personal energies / vibration of consciousness

then you will attract the right match for the both of you...

and I think I have figured out what the "catch" is... I have to get out there and interact with real people... (and to make the time for it)
