I would go with bear scare. I have been hit with pepper spray. and its not a nice exp. it didn't stop me.

with my gun purchase. it was not about fear. it is about survival. just in case. don't want my food, water, family, my life, or others beings harmed or taken or harassed. I have no intention in using it. and in today's day and age. one never knows. could be a war or revolution here in the usa. I dough it. but you never know. and if there are concentration camps. Ill take my chances in the woods. no fear. survival and protection. of self and others.
