A forest is a collections of self growing things like the one that caused that huge bump on your forehead.

Just sit back - Take in several very deep breaths

Then just take a look at the Camelot Mission statement page !

Could well be the reason why most of us are here ?

and the Truth Is ? ? ? Out there somewhere ! We just have to keep on chipping away, I guess......The MODS and the ROCKERS...together !

Good work, it needs to be done.

Stick to the original concepts.
The Clean-out is not censorship it is an attempt to bring the forum back to its purpose.

The mystic and religious are relevant on the appropriate forum. If deemed appropriate - one linked to this one as Camelot is.

Personally, I have an interest in both but would like to see them differentiated, as trolling through the treads can be 'off-putting' and is leading to the loss of good 'ideas' posted by other members.

Also we should be here to help one-another and not to 'slag' other members or concepts we do not agree with.

Negative as in negative attitude, and negative as related to the companion word, disparaging. I see no evidence the "negative" topics, such as in the category of "doom and gloom" are a problem.

Also negative as outlined by Carol throughout the first post to this topic.
"trash THE FORUM OWNERS, THE MODS, THE FORUM OR ANY MEMBER OF THE FORUM. " Treating others with disrespect or breaking any of the other rules. I suggest reading through the post again.

Just as an example, please do not take this out of context. Here would be a "negative" reply to your question and all the other's that piped in also ... "Duh morons, by kindergarden most have figured out what is negative treatment of others." The first part of my reply is simply factual and attempts to be kind, or at least neutral no personal attacks, no name calling, no sarcasm.

I hope this helps. I can clarify more if need be. To me it's very obvious - it is disrespectful, it trashes something other than yourself. It hurts.

Very good Carol.

You have got my support 100% in what you are doing.

And those who are playing the 'hitler' card are some of those who are obviously trying to cause friction. Such statements as "Ohh a ban.. scary, you know what that means" or "Ohh look at all the restrictions" are hallmarks of those who are trying to cause trouble and this kind of thing should not be tolerated.

A forum such as this needs to be controled to a very large extent. And the reason being is that it is far too easy for negativly orientated people to divert its course under the guise of 'free speach'

I have full trust in the owners and the moderators of this forum to control it in a just fair manner. We are not at the point where such things can be run freely by the people just yet for the obvious reason of sabeutars but we could not have better moderators to do this job.

Good call Carol, Take no ***** and dont be discouraged by the people who are branding the forum owners the same as our own political leaders because i know in my heart and soul that if the intention is good then the result will follow.

Update 11/24/08

Over 400 thread were moved out of the Thread Review holding area to Camelot Off Topic Forum today. So please check there if you are looking for something and/or please use the search function. There were a few threads that I didn't have time to review yet but they should be in Off Topic in the next day or so.

In addition.. it's time to clean up the General Avalon Forum again only this time everything that is not in alignment with the Avalon Forum guidelines will me moved Camelot's Off Topic forum where we will sort the threads from there so that folks will have access to their threads during the sorting-out process.

If your thread is Avalon related it stays in the Avalon General Forum. Any thread that is not in alignment with the guidelines on the Avelon Forum will first be moved to the Project Camelot OFF TOPIC Forum.

Avalon General Discussion topics are to be on the following: Finding safe places, information and resources for building communities, site suggestions.

Thank your for your patience.
