Monsieur or Madame Scooby,
The thread is called spirituality not religion to answer a previous question. Its a place where people come to, among other things, investigate the myths and lies propagated by a religion gone awry. Its a place where people like to openly discuss the totally unethical history of religion(s) and where to go from here. There are certainly people on this site who believe in god and good luck to them, everyone is on their own path. However if you begin a new thread to tell people to effectively prostrate themselves in the name of your God then there is a small chance you may have been misled about what we are all at here. In general we are trying to get people UP, take them out of their fear, get up and wake up. Gods not driving our cars around here. To put the spirituality back into our lives that has been so robbed from us by religions that spread hell and damnation and the governments who use religion to spread fear for their grand plan of permanent war. AND as a general note you are on an open forum which is being accessed by people from all over the world at different times of their or our day or night, in other words some of em could be drunk :-) joke joke just a little humour to keep the boat afloat. Cheer up and expect to be taken to task when you post anything here, its a place where people can question mock or even be mean, its kinda like the real world. No offense to you at all, I hope you have a great time doing what you are doing but you will find that others don't agree and if you post you have to be able to give as good as you get. |

Religion and spirituality are close terms, like egg and chicken haha.
The religion is the logic first step to a "personal religion" and that's what YOU understand for spirituality. I suport you totally Scooby. You are really ahead of many, many men in therms of spiritual realization, keep searching what you think is the best. Let's see this. Zeitgeist par 1 DEBUNKED! All the sources in this part of zeitgeist are theosophical ones, and that's satanism (really, I don't making it up! see what Elena Blavasky, the founder of theosophy say in his book "The secret doctrine"!). Other thing to look at is the Alberto Rivera history. It's a disclosure! Of course in the topic of spiritual knowledge you must believe before see so it's only life timing. The skeptics are good people who thinks by Themselves so I don't have nothing against them either. Really I think if we ask G O D a little proof he will answerd the challenge. Do it, it's nice hehehe SSsssheerz |

Again, someone that doesnt understand the difference between religion and spirituality. What I am advocating is a relationship with the greatest spirit of all. Of course you don't get it. The Bible says that the Wisdom of God is foolishness to man. Thats because man is full of ego and thinks himself a god or godlike. No One told you to do anything bud it was a challenge. Learn to read than you might start to discover what you think you already grasp. You might want to check yourself and why you feel or are projecting offense over the suggestion. btw like others you may want to learn respect of others views whether you believe them or not its how you will get along when the times really do get tuff here in Amerika.

Scooby, I understand that you think you have something important to share. The problem is that you are presenting your beliefs and opinions here as FACTS.
Pardon me for being honest and frank; but that makes you come across as arrogant and condescending. You talk like your beliefs are superior to ours. Perhaps they are right for you, but that doesn't mean they're right for anyone else. You'd do well to encourage everyone to follow their own inner guidance. If you find someone who's truly interested in what you have to say; Great! Until then the best thing you can do is to live your life the best way you can, and let that example be your teaching. I always find it interesting when the religious go up against the spiritualists (Remember ctophil and me! That was classic haha...) in that the religious folk horde together in a group with one turning toward the rest of the crowd "Don't worry, they'll it coming to them." While the spiritualists will just roll their eyes with a smile on their face and each go on their own merry way. The religious folk will continue to meet together in groups and focus on notions of separation and how to restore unity to the group to further the notion of separation between them and the almighty. The spiritualists however, will go on with the natural flow of life and simply due to synchronicity, they are brought together again in which they embrace the unity with a hug and a smile.
Scooby, my advice, rework how you approach people with your ideas and feelings, and I honestly believe people will listen to you more seriously, regardless of their current beliefs. For example, there was a discussion panel this week at my campus focused on 'seeking harmony' through an association of secular humanists which I am proudly apart of. One of the four panel speakers was the representative for the local interfaith Chaplin service and is a Christian. In that terms of atmosphere, you think there may have been some tension. However, her views were greatly appreciated by everyone there, and she was very well spoken. I was very glad that they included her in the discussion. She was a very honest and good hearted person who was by no means in the dark or misled as some will always say in regards to religion. Namaste. |
