Can we at least show Criss Angel a little respect for being able to fly, walk on water etc, he does tons of things that ARE fake and illusiory but some other things are absolutely life changing.

Yes I think the guy is a bit ego-centric and materialistic but there is also something very special about this person.

He is an entertainer. He has been proven a fake in the sense that he is not walking from one building roof to the other. It's called illusion. Yes, a lot of editing is done later.

My issue is his overt dark occult look that draws kids into looking into magick for power. This opens doors to dark entities which is what I think is the underlying reason he was made popular by tptw.

The guy I think is pretty amazing is the one who uses NLP on people and we can see it's affects on the population.

For me, it was Ram Dass "Be Here Now" which I read in 1972 when I was 15 years old. He's still around too, though he's had lots of humbling experiences (like a massive stroke).

But I was also brought up in Christian Science, so I read Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy from my earliest memories, which teaches that we are all perfect reflections of God.

i can't argue with that. though he is no more special than you, me, or anybody else, no matter how positive or negative they may be. he may know some things that most people don't. perhaps he can levitate. i won't speculate. but that doesn't somehow make him more special than those of us who can't.
