It happens in every forum, especially when a new one starts up. People spam and post meaningless garbage just to get thier post count up. Apparently some folks out there think if they have a huge number of posts under thier name they will gain respect or appear to be in the know.

Why not just disable it?

That isnt a bad idea.

However, do you really think this community suffers that kind of membership? From what I have seen so far, I dont think so.
