I might save you a bit of time, wondering and hit or miss by refering you to someone who has actually spoken directly to him.

There are a lot of people who have given a shot at deciphering nostradamus's works and unfortunatly a lot of them are pretty much hit or miss with a lot of miss.

Doloras Cannon - Conversations with nostradamus.

It might sound nuts that she actually talked to him but once you look her up and do some research on her everything will become clear
