CAMELOT:-

01 The place where KI Arthur held court. $E01, Level-01. The home cell (:hc) of the KI. Arthur’s chief city and the capital of Logres said to have been built by Merlin in a single night.

02 Mentioned in Shakespeare’s KI Lear, II, ii, and Tennyson’s Idylls of the KI.

03 Glastonbury: town in Somerset (England). Fabled to be the place where Joseph of Arimathea brought the Christian faith to Britain, and the Holy Grail, in the year 63.

AVALON:-

01 Celtic legend: an island represented as an earthly paradise in the western seas, to which KI Arthur and other heroes were carried at death. Avalon is also known as the Isle of Apples. Ducking for apples at Hallowe’en symbolizes the dying old year. In the Celtic Beth-Luis-Nion tree alphabet, the apple-tree is ‘Q’ for ‘Quert’, one of the ‘seven noble trees’.
