I may shock some here but I have come to realize lately that in the soul realm choosing to endorse the dark side 's role on this plane can be seen as an act stemming from Love itself for in so doing it help others to make choices that, as awakening and growth in consciousness take place, will ultimately culminate into the triggering of our soul qualities of compassion and forgiveness and raise our responsibility to the fact that we are creating our own world. When you can have compassion and forgiveness for all that is you have come to realize that you are in the center of your own universe where the fine line that was once put between " good " and " bad" do not exist anymore for Love integrates both parts into Oneness with all that is .

It is a saying that your worst enemy is your best friend and that the pain that you carry is the Love that you withold. I understand these in the Light of the above. There are many ways to adress darkness : you can fight it , you can fear it ,you can defend yourself against it or you can run away . All these are steps in the process of consciousness's growth and as such have their own value .But ultimately you'll have to integrate it through Love and compassion and see through your Heart , the soul's heart , that in your opponent there is another you.

Another thought i have is seeing transcendence of duality thus: imagine a coin, it is two sided, it is in some sense only two dimensional,
you can roll it on a table top but is quite unstable and will easily fall. Now imagine that coin puffing out into a pinball ie transcending from 2 to 3D,
it can now roll in any direction with ease.
