Thoughts please on the us goverment buying the two biggest mortgage companies in the us. Do they own 80% of all us mortgages in the us? If they were to call in all debts, ( and lets be honest they have the resources to COLLECT ) would this put the majority of the population as putty in there hands, free to impose any wish or whim they so desire. The uk goverment could only dream of such a beneficial scenario. Im interested in the ideas of where it is all going by someone with more knowledge than me on this subject.
