The Book of Life: The Akashic Records

Many traditions and many religions of the world refer to the mysterious "Book of life"
Some say it is a type of 'Universal memory', or a collection of vibrational registries, which has inscribed in it everything that is related to the Creation.
Consequently, every human being has his own registry, a compendium of pictorial records, or 'memories' , of all events, actions, thoughts and feelings.
The Akashic Records contain the entire history of every soul since the dawn of Creation, and also the records that connect each one of us to one another.

More than just a reservoir of events, the Akashic Records contain every deed, word, feeling, thought and intent that has ever occurred at any time in the history of our Universe.
It is a Universal Library where no registry or books are ever missing. The Akashic Records are interactive in nature and they have an incredible influence upon our daily lives, our dealings, our feelings, our belief systems and the potential realities we portray toward ourselves.
The records of the 'Book of life' are impressed on a subtle substance called akasha, or soniferous ether.
Akasha is also thought to be the primary principle of nature from which the other four natural principles: fire, air, earth and water, were created.

The Akashic Records, or the "Book of life' , is traceable as far back as the Semitic peoples: the Arabs, the Assyrians, the Phoenicians, the Babylonians, and the Hebrews.
Some indicate that the Akashic Records are similar to a Cosmic or collective consciousness.

Believers in the existence of the Akashic Records assert that they were accessed by ancient people of various cultures throughout history.
Any human can become the physical mideum for accessing the records through the use of various techniques and spiritual disciplines.
The Ancient Egyptians believed that The Akashic Records were aligned with the Stars of the Orion's Belt and the Great Pyramid. They also believed that the Mystical Sphinx was its Spiritual Guardian throughout the Aeons.
I wonder if this is why they have never released any information on the findings in the tunnels at the feet of the Sphinx.

To add to this, for those that do not believe.
I had a reading approximately 5 years ago and i was told literally what was in my mind, what i had thought since i was a kid, ( and some of it was very spooky ), and what was going to happen in the very near future. It did not make any sense then, but knowing all this information about 2012, pole shift etc, it all makes a great deal of sense. I can honestly vouch for it 100% and so have several of my friends.

Just wondering if there are any others who have had any similar experiences. David Wilcock uses the Akashic Records when he does his readings.
