Yes, Im from both. I grew up in South Africa (C.T.) and now live in Australia. Good thing is they've started selling boerewors here

I suspect it could be something you think you need to know, but if you ever found out what it was, you'd feel let down.
Kind of like Australian 'drop-bears' - which can be very dangerous, or so I once heard.

Lol, no its not candy or a mythical creature. Its a type of big sausage that you have at a BBQ. Its just something that South Africans miss when they cant get it, like vegemite for Australians. You can find it at come Coles.
