Hope this will help, as a Nurse you tend to notice differences in your patients wellbeing, as it is part of the care plan, IE Assesment, Plan, Impliment, Re-assess. The re-assessment also including, what the patient eats and any changes physiologicaly.
I noticed that all the patients who had Arthritus/and similar conditions, when they had eaten cheese in particular, dairy products or red meats, this would increase the pain along with decreased mobility. It has since been found through research, that these food sources do affect those with Arthritus, it stimulates what we call the Histamines, which stimulate the antigens which envelope IE the bacteria, the antigens normaly function as a protector of the body from bacteria, however if you stimulate it too much, it starts to attack the body, it attacks the synovial membrains, this is the tissue that is in between the joints. when the synovial membrain is affected, the bones then rub together and causes pain and sometimes small noduels to form, sometimes, depending on what type of auto immune disease it is, deformity will also be evident. I am not very good at explaining things, but I hope it helps a little, the Doctor could probably give you a booklet explaining the ins and outs of the disease, better than me. What I would suggest, is, if you want to see if this makes any difference, ask your GP if he can give you some advice, and a dietry plan, so you don't become defficient in any vital vitamins etc, when ommiting these food sources out of your diet. There is something you said that bothers me, and that is the "Fungus Infection" and The "Psorasis".
It might well be a good idea to get your Doctor or Health Specialist to test you to see if you might have Yeast Infection in the bowel (candida albicans). My Husband had this and got horrible large ring-worm type patches on his body. If it is this you would need to cut out every-thing you eat that has sugar in it! The only thing that would cure him was (I gave him a chopped up clove of garlic on a tablespoon mixed with olive oil followed by a sprig of parsley to hid the smell. Sometimes Arthritis is there because of another condition. Sugar creates an acid system. |

Very good advices have been shared in this thread, but one very important thing is missing!
I myself have been suffering with a rare form of arthritis, called ankylosing spondylitis (you know, people who are bent so bad they cant look in front of them, thats what i got). ![]() 2 years ago i could barely walk, just a trip to the bathroom was torture and most of the time i had to walk on my knees. I had to go back to living with my father because i couldnt take care of myself. I think we have to hit the bottom of the barrel before we realize we have everything inside ourselves to get out of it. So anyways to get back on topic, the one thing missing in this thread is the power of meditation! When i was at the bottom of all bottoms, i decided to start meditating again. Funnily, my health started changing very rapidly, over night! I also started doing breathing exercises to help oxygenate my body (the arthritis i suffer from affects the ribs too, making breathing quite painful, thus reducing the oxygen intake). The breathing exercises were quite painful, and i wasnt able to do a lot of sequences at a time and that was allright. What paid off was to stick with it and respect my limits. The road back to health can be long and hard, but its there! You cant detox your body from all of the abuse of bad food/toxic medications in a day, its a gradual thing. After i started getting better from the meditations and breathing exercises, my mind started to be more clear as well. My sleep was much better too, i went from sleeping in bunches of 15 mins to 4-6 hours straight, that was quite good! I was then able to start doing research and start changes in my life. All of the advices in this thread cover most of it but ill list them again. Acid blood is a terrain for sickness. You cant have a good health if your blood is acid. There are supplements you can take to help bring your PH back to alkaline, but i went the food route. This route will bring you improvement in a much slower way but thats what i prefer, because the changes i put in my food habit are permanent. There are charts all over the internet showing you which foods are alkaline and which are acid, just google "acid alkaline food charts". You need to eat 80% alkaline foods, 20% acid. You need to get rid of everything that lowers your immune system. The list here is long unfortunately. -Get rid of all processes foods (white sugar and flour, corn syrup, sodas, etc etc). -Get rid of GM foods (you will have to go organic). -Get rid of canned foods (the preservatives they put in them are bad for you, on top of the fact you dont know where the food in them came from - aka GM food, irradiated food, etc). -Get rid of products with aspartame (sodas again, chewing gum, etc). -Say no to vaccines (they got a lot of bad stuff in them, like mercury and who knows what else). -If you can afford it, get rid of your tooth amalgams, they are a source of mercury which poisons your body and kills your immune system (you can replace them with a ceramic filling). -Get rid of red meat and diary products (unfortunately all the cattle is treated with growth hormones and antibiotics, and those pass in the milk and meat and thats bad for your immune system). -Bottled water (here in Canada, you cant find bottled water without fluorides in them anymore, if you can find true pure bottled water in your area then youre fine, but the plastic bottles are bad anyways). -Get rid of your microwave oven -Get rid of your mobile/cell phone Detox your body! -Fasting helps a lot here. -Drink a lot of water (avoid fluoridated and chlorinated water though, you might need a good water filter/distiller if your water source is bad). -Eat organic. Eat a lot of fresh veggies and fruits (eat their seeds when possible). -Meditate! -Listen to relaxing music, everything that will reduce your stress level is good for you. Listening to Solfeggio Frequencies will help you a lot, you can find them in youtube (the healing frequency is 528). -Oxygenate your body. Do breathing exercises, you can do it while you meditate, take a walk, etc Sorry if that post got long ![]() But i can tell you ive done 90% of what ive listed here (cant afford getting rid of my tooth amalgams atm), and right now im well enough that i was finally able to stop taking my poisoned prescription pills 4 months ago. I can now sleep a whole night. I still cant run or walk very fast but its getting there. I can now cook my own food and take care of myself. I also discovered im quite good at cooking food! Its totally possible to eat healthy while your food also tastes very good. I cant stand processed foods and restaurants anymore, they taste like **** (proof i have detoxed well so far). ![]() So anyways good luck! Im sure you have everything in you to get better ![]() Last edited by Savoyya; 10-12-2008 at 09:33 PM. |

A friend of mine was just talking about how she had crippling arthritis in her hip, she went on an extensive candida yeast diet and the symptoms totally cleared up. You could try googling "candida yeast overgrowth" and see if you find anything that is helpful for you. In my experience working with natural supplements it does seem to cause so different health problems for people.
A parasite cleanse probably wouldn't hurt either. |

Hi,
I think post #19 (Tony) might have something - Although I am an intuitive and not a doctor, you seem to be resonating with Tick / Insect Illnesses; and there are many illnesses from vectors that are known to cause serious arthritis. These include bacteria, viruses, parasites, mycoplasm and more. The live pathogens produce toxins, and, if the pathogens are killed, there are more toxins that are released - these endo- and exotoxins can re-circulate in the body, rather than be eliminated. Therefor, it's important that if you are on a natural protocol to eliminate, then you must taken toxin binders and other agents to remove them from the body. There are panel tests for these as well as assay tests now for endotoxins. I can get you professional grade natural products that you can order yourself at a 20% discount (I offer to my clients and to members of this forum), and you can have them shipped to CAN. I have read good things about MMS (Jim Supple's work) and will be testing this on my clients. Although it has not been reported that it completely cures tick illness. You can also go to the Cowden Support Program, which offers a good protocol, but it is very expensive. I don't earn anything on his stuff, but you could order several things he recommends via me. Many people report excellent, but not full recovery, from Samento (TOA-Free Cat's Claw;or Prima Una De Gato) - try the liquid form. There is some controversy as to whether TOA-Free offers better results than plain Cat's Claw. You MUST, however, take binding agents and other things when taking this herb, along with a heavy metal cleanser. Maybe go to a Lyme Disease and other websites and check yourself for symptoms. Even if you get tested and the tests come back negative, you could still be positive for tick illness. Good luck, Dakini Last edited by Dakini; 12-19-2008 at 10:32 PM. |

Hi,
There's probably a lot of different things that you can do. From my knowledge of chi kung, joints normally become arthritic with age when the energy flow through the joints starts getting blocked, so any energy circulation exercise is good and can be used as a preventitive. So practice on a daily basis would improve your health. You didn't mention if you cleared the parasitic problem. You have to make sure that your system is clear of parasites and you are taking the proper nutrition, this is always the first step to basic health. Other peoplee here could probably be knowledgable here. /Wayne |

I use Cherry SYRUP! Not juice.
It is very thick and you can get it at the Farmer's Market in quart containers. A couple of tablespoons a day will do the trick. It takes some time before it works though... Couple of weeks I believe... I forgot as to how it works...My wife just told me to DO IT! hehe! |

David Icke suffers from arthritis; i don't know what treatment he uses though.I think the best mates are Will power and Percy veerance, together they can overpower Arthur itis!Sorry i couldn't help any further There are these linkshere,EMU oil?
http://www.jointpainremedy.com/ http://www.organicnutrition.co.uk/ar.../arthritis.htm What can be done about arthritis? (Circulation formula) Ginger Ginger is a fantastic herb. It has been used for the treatment of many aliments. Studies show it is very beneficial in relieving arthritis. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it a well know arthritis treatment. Ginger contains zingibain, a special proteolytic* enzyme. Research shows that proteolytic enzymes have anti-inflammatory properties. Taken as a tincture, capsule, as a tea or fresh, it does not have any reported side effects to high dosages. A dish prepared with ginger will actually give you a medicinal dose of the herb. *proteolytic: the hydrolysis of proteins into simpler compounds by the action of enzymes. Cayenne Cayenne Pepper or Red Pepper ( Capsicum frutescens ) is another wonderful herb, with a wide range of medical properties to heal the body. Considered one of the best local and circulatory stimulants, cayenne may be used externally for poor circulation, unbroken chilblains and pains associated with arthritis and lumbago Capsicum creams are readily available or you can add a few drops of cayenne tincture to an ointment. If you do add to a cream, use sparingly at first gradually increasing the dosage. Cayenne can be very hot and some people are sensitive. So test it first. Taken internally cayenne stimulates the heart, regulating the blood flow and strengthening the arteries and capillaries. Cayenne also contains capsaicin, a pain-relieving chemical. This also triggers the body to release endorphins, natures own opiates. Take cayenne as a tincture for fast acting absorption, and include the spice in your food. Garlic and Ginkgo Biloba Both garlic and ginkgo biloba have been shown to help with circulation and improve blood flow. This is important where arthritis is concerned. You have to try to improve your circulation. This will help bring oxygen to the affected area and take away harmful deposits which have built up. All of these herbs may help. We have produced a special formula which includes all four of these herbs: ginger, cayenne, garlic and ginkgo biloba. You can see more information about the circulation formula here (click). Other things which may help: Bromelain a proteclytic enzyme present in pineapples helps prevent inflammation. Bromelain helps the body get rid if immune antigen complex compounds that are inflicted in some arthritic conditions In addition to zingibain and bromelain there are other proteclytic enzymes that have similar effects. Kiwifruit, paw paw and figs are excellent sources. Calcium is always needed by the body and especially to aid in the prevention of osteoporosis. Food and herbs high in calcium are : Alfalfa, Liquorice, Red clover shoots, Camomile, Chives, Coltsfoot, Dandelion, Horsetail, Meadowsweet, Nettle, Plantain, Watercress, Cabbage, Thyme and basil. Devils Claw a tuber found in South Africa contains a glycoside called harpagoside that helps to reduce inflammation in joints. Best taken in the tincture form especially for inflamed joints. Also good for itchy skin with no obvious cause. One caution, this herb should be avoided during pregnancy. Additional herbs that will assist in treating arthritis are: Turmeric, Willow a natural pain killer, Liquorice which has anti-inflammatory qualities, rosemary, oregano, basil, camphor, celery seed, meadowsweet. Stinging Nettles have been used for thousands of years! Nature provides us with many plants that will aid in the relieving of joint pain. The most radical and perhaps the most daunting is Stinging Nettles. It is called urtication - from nettles botanical name, Utrica dioica- and dates back to the biblical times. Quiet simply the plant is grasped in a gloved hand and the stiff, swollen joint is swatted, thrashed with the sting. Urtication often provides considerable relief. The tiny stingers of the nettle plant actually provide microinjections of several chemicals, one of which is histamine. The theory is, these chemicals, as well as causing the sting, trigger anti-inflammatory action by the body and so relieve arthritis. This is an ancient folklore, that seems to work for many people all over the world. Nettles grow in may countries and in each stinging nettles has developed a reputation as a treatment for arthritis. For the less adventurous of us, a fresh nettle tea or eating nettles will offer the same long term benefits. Gently steam the young tender leaves, and enjoy as a vegetable. They do lose the stinging effect when cooked! Related Articles see: Circulation, Exercise |

Yer Welcome but. do not thank me...Thank Mrs Dood.
She is the brains of this outfit. I tease her a lot but, in truth my wife is really bright and commited to health care. She will not stand for any of her 'Sisters' (Fellow Nurses) to whine, complain or make excuses. She has a heart of gold with a Nurse Rachet attitude. hehe! |
