Default Help with fibromyalgia?

I have been cursed with this for quite a few years. I was taking HTP for awhile. It worked wonders, and all of my pain went away. Unfortunately, the effects of it are starting to wane a bit

Does anyone have a long-term solution? The HTP did work in an amazing fashion, yet now the pain is back!!

Thank you in advance for ANY advice!!!!!!!

Can't do medical advice, but this one thing suggests itself to me intuitively: Purification.

Aim to purify everything (Mind Body and Soul) to the highest possible degree. Things like (but not limited to) the eating raw food, no refined sugar, no tea or coffee, consideration of adopting a vegetarian diet, drinking exceptionally pure water and lots of it, removing all externally applied impurities (eg: un-natural cosmetics). Meditation is an important component too.

Look into if you are living near any radio towers or cell phone towers etc. We humans are living an a world that is extremely polluted, find out about it and mitigate the effects of all impurities that you have to suffer as much as possible.

Consider fasting for a fast track (but sometimes harsh to experience) detox to get the process started.

The closer you get to pure the easier it is for your body to fix itself. Take your time and work up to this in a stepwise fashion. To much too soon will be hard to cope with and can make it worse (for a while).

What I have written is only the tip of the ice-berg.

May you be blessed, guided and protected, in the love and in the light of the one infinite creator.

A..

Fibromyalgia?

Pregabalin (from 2009 (Lyrica) in the United Kingdom) and I suggest a better Dr because there is a wide varied treatment regime for this very weird but treatable disorder.

Interestingly, alot of anti psychotics and other such drugs for psychiatric / cognitive conditions have great effect. Pain is after all in the mind, be it real or phantom, because it is after all the seat of all the nerves.

The advice given in the post above is excellent as by following this advice you will help to 'inner clean' your system. Coffee is a definite 'no' try dinking an infusion of nettle tea instead. Try to eat organic foods where possible and no animal flesh
as most of the animal flesh is full of hormones and these are not good for you.

Try using cyrstals to balance your chakras.

7th (Crown)
Colour: Violet, White, Gold
Crystals: Amethyst, Purple Fluorite, Clear Quartz, Diamond

5th (Throat)
Colour: Blue
Crystals: Turquoise, Blue Topaz, Sodalite, Lapis Lazuli, Aquamarine, Celestine
Scent: Chamomile, Eucalyptus

4th (Heart)
Colour: Green/Pink
Crystals: Green and Pink Tourmaline, Green Jade, Green Aventurine, Emerald, Rose Quartz
Scent: Rose, Ylang Ylang

4th (Heart)
Colour: Green/Pink
Crystals: Green and Pink Tourmaline, Green Jade, Green Aventurine, Emerald, Rose Quartz
Scent: Rose, Ylang Ylang

2nd (Sacral/Spleen)
Colour: Orange
Crystals: Carnelian, Golden Topaz, Citrine, Amber, Gold Calcite
Scent: Jasmine, Sandalwood

1st (Root/Base)
Colour: Red (or Black/Grounding crystals/colours)
Crystals: Garnet, Ruby, Red Jasper, Bloodstone, Smoky Quartz, Hematite, Obsidian
Scent: Patchouli, Geranium

Suggest you start out by simply placing a cyrstal of the corresponding colour on each chakra point for about 20 minutes, empty your mind and ask Archangel Raphael to assist you with the healing your body needs. Place a grounding cyrstal such as smoky quartz between your feet when chakra balancing as this will help to ground you.

Try keeping a small piece of amethyst with you in your pocket or wear a piece of jewelry containing amethyst.

Please pm me if you would like some more help with using crystals to help heal this painful thing.

Also, depending on the cause, Miracle Mineral Supplement might help - there's a huge thread on it here on the Avalon board. Unfortunately, fibro is a catch-all diagnosis - having had it given to me at one time. Today the only pain in my body is my right arm from where I got 2 coats of paint on the bathroom walls yesterday.

cannabis would be your best, safest bet for long term meds.

i know thats hard to take in for some folks, but really... that is the most effective, and safest substance that can help.

a friend was just telling me about some new pill they have out to, i forget the name but ill ask him for you. '' but cannabis would still be the best .

I hope you get some relief soon.
pm me if youd like more info on the medicinal aspects.

Amazing sometimes how things slip your mind....

Vitamin D shortage will exacerbate muscle and soft tissue pain. And 20 minutes in the sun daily doesn't make up for it... Have you had your D checked by blood tests?

If you're going to supplement, do it with the dry D3 (Biotech makes it, I have no interest or ties to Biotech) - or under a doctor's supervision - D2 is the form that converts to D3, and it's possible that your body does not do the conversion.

Just another thought about a possible cause and treatment.

I'm all for getting the cause under control.

Thanks for the information, guys...

I adopted a vegetarian diet in July. I eat NO meat, and eat entirely organic foods. I do indulge in coffee, though...that is hard to give up. I take a great many supplements, 3000 mg of vitamin D every night to prevent flu, some colloidal silver, vitex for hormone issues, etc. The pain is still there I am trying very hard, meditation, etc. This is becoming very frustrating.

What form of D? It needs to be D3. Also, carbs tend to set off my pain more than protein. Just FWIW.
Hope you get to feeling better.

anything that you put on your skin wil be absorbed by your skin.
http://www.naturalnews.com/017804.html

Make sure your washing your clothing in a natural product like washnut.

filter your water if it contains any fluoride or any other poison.

I was on lyrica for four years. Pure poison ...........I lost my line of thought and NO it wasn't old age. I was sick to my stomach and always tired.

I went on the Vitamin D3 and tossed out all my meds.....
lyrica, neurotin and the calcium .

My pain is gone. I took D3 in abundance for the first 30 days and now maintain it on 2000 IU's a day.

Good Luck

Excellent source for Vitamin D information is www.vitamindcouncil.org
I don't agree with Cannell on everything (when have I ever agreed with anything completely? ) I'm a bane to my physicians.

He believes that A and D are antagonistic - I'm not so sure - or if so, maybe they need to be taken at different times in the day.... like iron and most other vitamins/minerals.

That said, he's got a lot of good information...

I just want to tell you my story, maybe you can find something useful in it.
I have had some difficult health problems before, the symptom was, immune defence disorder, caused maybe by poisoning, I'm not sure about the reason.
This is what I believe saved me then, and will save me in the future.

Strong belief, that I was going to be cured.
Antioxidants (vitamins and minerals), that repairs broken DNA.
An “Ann Wigmore”-diet, as a starting point, because I was very weak, only in the beginning.
Physical action or maybe massage, blood is the “repairing agent”.
Get rid of fears, “climbing on the emotional scale”, this is very important.
Charge myself, with life force, as “Bruno Gröning – Circle of Friends” do, this is very important.
I have heard that in a cell, the voltage is normally between 80mV to 100mV, a cancer patient has only 20mV.
And I think, to “charge” oneself, will increase this voltage, just speculations.
Anyhow, I can feel this “charge”.
If you start “charging” yourself according to above, you may encounter some “healing phenomena”, that they call “Regelungen”.
I have had very strange reactions myself, probably “Regelungen”.
This “charging” of yourself will also affect your “psychology”, not only your “body-health”.
This, I do regularly, 5-15 minutes (morning and evening).
Do not eat things like Aspartame or E620-series and so on.
I try to profile my food intake, with low carbohydrate instead of low fat (Atkin?).
Try to handle “energy thieves”, you can for example ask them: What do you mean? This simple question seems to be surprisingly effective.
Some spiritual things also, I use to meditate, and when I get a “coming illness” (pre state), I use to shape my aura and it seems to disappear.
People tell me that I am crazy, and then I ask them: What is most crazy, to believe you can heal yourself and actually be healed, or believe that you can't heal yourself and continue to be ill?
Find your life path.
And I am still up and running.
I understand that you do many of these things already, maybe you find something useful.
Comments appreciated.

blessings to you, HeidiLore

Many cases of this condition have been cured by stoping the consumption of the artificial sweetner Aspartame.

http://www.biotoxin.info/home
I started intensively researching "Biotoxin Illness" a few months ago - Per this site, Fibromyalgia is considered a form of toxin illness caused by a genetic predisposition to NOT being able to mobilize and eliminate certain toxins from the body.

The research is done by Ritchie Shoemaker, MD and his team, and he advocates a prescription medication called Cholestyramine - it absorbs bile, so the toxins in it can be taken out of the body.

I am researching natural alternatives to cholestyramine, and so far it appears that Guggul helps - an ayurvedic resin that does the same thing. However, Fibromyalgia is a complex illness that may need the addition of other products.

On another note, I have personally had trigger point injections on nodules that did help me.

I specialize in helping ppl naturally heal from toxin illness - if you have questions please let me know.

And yes, ppl have been helped by MMS, though I still think you need helping herbs with MMS to avoid herxheimer effect. For MMS:

I have chronic fatigue and when I first got it I had the aches, pains, muscels spams etc. I have also done some courses in natural medicine which helped me find remedies.
I took a herbal mixture (Greenridge Mutli Vital)it is not a vitamin supplement but a herbal whole body liquid tonic which will help with many of the symptoms.
Also magnesium, potassium and calcium will help relax muscles and help with sleep.
