Wink You Decide My Fate Here

Hello Avalon Members,

There are members here that do not like me and do not want me here. They feel that I do not deserve to be a moderator and that I should not have
the title - Project Avalon Spiritual Mediator

I was drawn to Avalon to share my wisdom and send a message of love and peace.

This poll will close in one day. Your votes will decide my fate.

If you do not want me here, then I will be glad to leave.
If you do want me here, then that is fine too.

I felt that I had a destiny here at Avalon.

Now you will determine my destiny in this timeline.

If the poll says for me to leave, I will request my resignation to the admin immediately after the poll has closed and I will leave Avalon permanently as a member.
I will close the Golden Temple. I will disappear.

If the poll says for me to stay, I will continue my work here at Avalon. Some have sarcastically suggested for me to have my own section. That is also
up to the admin.

Keep in mind, I did not ask to be a moderator. The mod team here wanted me to be a part of their team and invited me to be a moderator.
I have struggled with this since because it did put a damper on my original energy and purpose here. But I adjusted and I still continue my work.
After I became a mod, I requested my title be changed so others would still see that I was here for the spiritual mission. I did not want members to view me
differently because I was a mod.

How, Ironic that my choice of changing the title, caused even more backlash from members.

However, if I am not wanted here it would make more sense for me to leave.

I thank all of the members that support me. I love you and hope that you find your way through life and your spiritual journey.

Peace and Love,
Kevin Dellinger

You can't be serious. Being a moderator should not be a popularity vote and leaving should only be made by you or Bill and Kerry.

Kevin you need to chill. I cant say I've agreed with everything you've ever posted but hey what's wrong with that?

I do think the general term moderator would serve better for all as misunderstanding and dare I say jealousy can arise.

It's funny I had a thought that something like this would happen three weeks ago. Either I'm prescient or it was just inevitable.

Can't say as I've seen any bad moderating on your part?

I noticed the questions about whether we should have a religious section etc, but they were just questions put to a poll. I see no harm in that.

I used to be an admin of the 40th largest forum on the internet btw, so I suppose I speak from experience lol.

your kind of a wierdo but I am not going to vote you off the island buddy...

I sometimes wonder about people who claim all of this enlightenment and then spend a good chunk of their time every day behind a computer...

plus in my opinion I feel like about one third of the predictions and stories presented here on avalon are true...

I dont believe Dr. Reed.... the GFL and countless others...

Either way Kevin I feel like you bring some good feeling to the fourm and their is no reason for anybody to leave....

I feel that if a person is drawn to this page then it is up to them what they do with their time here.

much love Kevin!!
peace out

LOL! Also guilty as charged, not to mention I'm behind a computer at work too, sigh...
At least it's not sat in front of the TV

Kevin, please keep up your excellent work! I do appreciate your well balanced contributions as a moderator/mediator very much! You are offering to us so much wisdom and compassion, so many constructive and helpful postings and so many enriching insights. It would be a loss for this forum if you leave.

On the other side, if you feel, you need a break, listen to your inner voice. Take it seriously. In the end you are the only one to answer your question. No one else can do it for you. Listen to your heart and do what you feel is necessary.

Love and blessings to you,

Bagheera

I voted but I didn't realise you were a moderator or that you've posted any threads that I've thought I needed to complain about or seen any heavy handed moderation.

For me my issue with 'god' and all his other names is not that there is one or not, it is that all the various religions have given him/her/them a bad name.

I like thinking of 'them' as the ultimate creator or source ...or even sauce

I consider myself spiritual and a good person. I do not however consider myself religious. I'm a 7 day spiritual person rather than a one day a week religious person.

I like churches for there energetic nature and there architecture I don't feel the need to visit them weekly either...

Kevin,
I've read a good deal of your posts here. From what I can render...your intentions are true. You don't seem to have a hidden agenda. You speak (write) from the heart, and listen (read) with same.
You've reached a momentary "stumbling block" which you must traverse. You know the way around...it is the same way that lead you here...the way (and the answer) is within.

Think about it, meditate on it...don't rely on us to "decide your fate" brother.

I haven't cast a vote...it's not for me to choose...but you.

Speaking as a member who is not particularly spiritual or religious (always thought they were the same thing to be honest), I am amazed at the amount of jealousy, viciousness, prejudice, and complete lack of respect these members show each other. Many seem to have their own little cliques, and if you do not think the way they do... then you are evil of the darkness, or you have personal problems.

Instead of seeing the beauty of what they have in common, they tear each other apart in the name of Love. They like to think they are better, or more advanced than others... and use that mentality to justify their actions.

Kev, whatever you decide... you are a great guy and a very nice man. You have my full support and admiration. Brightest Blessings to you and yours my friend.

I agree with Bagheera and Rareheart.
The only thing I would add, we are all part of this forum each and everyone unique, each of us bringing what we can and that includes you my friend.
Listen to heart, you say you have a purpose, well don't leave us now, forget the poll, stay.

Kevin,

You dont need to be affected by any of the negativity aimed in your direction. We need to work on your armour.

You are well loved and your contributions are very much respected. Not everyone likes the polls, but they can move on quickly enough.

I voted +10000 for you to stay.

Talking Re: You Decide My Fate Here

Yo kevin althought some people will think your new age views are evil disinformation I find your threads informative and well thought off. Is too bad that are narrow minded views automatically turn off anything that does not jive with our preset belief system. We are all here to learn from each other from that perspective we should embrace each other and be as open as possible to understanding each others findings, experience, research etc.
We are all in this journey together no matter where it leaves.

Incidently, anyone can see who voted in this poll as it was created as a public one.

I don't know you or your predicament, but the threads I've come across with your writings have had solid, kind and genuine input.

I would really like you to stay.

Should we have another poll to ask if it's right that people get hounded off this forum by others?? I mean...this is Avalon for heaven's sake !! (or is it just another forum after all....??)

Reminds me of that great wisdom:

"Are you the People's Front of Judea?"

" F**k off ! "

" Well, who are you then?"

" We're the Judean People's Front !"
