What is with all the fear mongering "doom and gloom" threads on this forum?

Does anyone realise that we may very well be under a massive disinformation attack designed especially to divert our attention from what is really going to happen in the near future?
- And even if the outcome was indeed negative, do you think you would look back at your life and be happy that you lived it anticipating the future with such a powerfull overtone of fear? Fear takes the quality out of our lives.

I know people like fear, they enjoy it because they have been desensitized to it by some degree through television and media eyeball and ear manipulation.

Whoever controls your eyeballs, controls your mind.


People seem to be making life very difficult for themselves (not only themselves, but others) by constantly feeding themselves and others with fear. I can very well understand that as it is a chemical that our brain secretes it can become addictive like any drug.
But people must really start to understand that they have a very important responsibility to wean themselves off this 'drug' and bring themselves into a vibration of love and acceptance.

We are all aware that there are forces feeding off our negative emotions, and these forces have and continue to manipulate mankind in an effort to get them to release more fear, and these entities will not stick around if our vibrations were that of love and peace.

Its everyones responsibilty to contemplate this very seriously, because it is a very serious matter.

Be very carefull of what you write, what you say and what you do. Each action that promotes fear tightens the shackles that have bound human kind for millenia.

We are being terrorised through the senses, terrorism is the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion. Most common definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack). Terrorism has been used by a broad array of political organizations in furthering their objectives; both right-wing and left-wing political parties, nationalistic, and religious groups, revolutionaries and ruling governments.

• the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.
• the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.
• a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

Fear easily gets to be contagious. If people have hidden fears within themselves, it doesn't take much to get them amplified by being provided with something to anchor them in. An apparent excuse for fueling your fear that everything you know will suddenly be yanked away from under you.

But your emotions are shaping the reality you're creating for yourself and the people around you. Faced with an immediately dangerous situation fear can be quite useful, motivating you to act quickly in getting out of danger. Fear, when faced and overcome, can also be a tool in personal
growth. But if it is a persistent underlying self-reinforcing fear about something you aren't in a position to do anything about, fear easily becomes the building material for a gloomy future.

The choices you make make all the difference in the world. If you choose a world that is going down the drain, that is what you're creating around you. That is what you add energy to, that is what you pass on to the people around you.

Fear makes you easy to control.
Fear makes you smaller.
Fear makes you defend yourself
Fear is a self-fulfilling prophecy

Notice the distinction between a fear that you can immediately act on and the fear that is abstract, persistent, hovering in the air, the fear that leaves you incapacitated. The first kind of fear is simply a signal to get out of danger. You take action and you no longer have to be afraid. The second fear is mostly based on sub-conscious material, the accummulation of
a lot of unidentified stuff in your mind that you don't want.

Pay close attention to who is trying to make you generally fearful. Notice what is going on for them, dig into what their agendas might be.

And CHOOSE. Choose what you want, choose what world you want to live in.
Act accordingly. Feed your energy to that which you want more of. What you put your atention to you get more of.

I quite agree. Fear proceeds from attachment, and only the ego fears. Many folks have egos vastly disproportionate to the rest of them.

The coming of the ETs and the collapse of society are sort of the twin themes of Avalon. I see the whole ET thing as a distraction, since I have seen little evidence that they even exist. Don't get me wrong, I believe they're out there. But all the discussion and speculation about them uses up an awful lot of time and attention...and I ask myself, who benefits from that?

Now, the collapse of society is a whole 'nuther ball game. That is something that every one of us sees and deals with every day. I am neither a survialist nor a conspiracy theorist, but I can see with my own eyes that the money is tanking, the infrastructure is crumbling, the government is out of control, and it sure looks to me as if there's an agenda behind it all. I do not regard this with fear, however, because I believe that our shallow, selfish, consumerist "culture" cannot sustain itself nor can the world sustain itself while it exists. So I see this as necessary, just, and in the end positive.

I'm sometimes deeply sad over what I see in the world. But no, I am not afraid.

We have a winner!


Fear is rampant right now on the internet and in real life. For the young, this is our first real recession and since we are connected with the internet and TV much more than the BabyBoomers ever were, we are literally terrified because what is on TV is our reality. We go from site to site and read all the articles (that report the same ****) and get scared ****less. Then we start jumping to conclusions because that is what we are trained to think after having watched hundreds of movies growing up about the end of the world, and we just assume that the worst case scenario is going to happen.

Of course most of us are clueless about history at the same time, making it even worse.

For the older people, they are scared their retirement savings are disappearing at a time they need to retire. Few of them think this is a "collapse" because they have lived through this before.

The end result is fear and fear is its own beast that feeds on itself and destroys everything in its path.


The truth is that the world is not going to collapse. We are not going to be living like the people in Africa. We are not going to be killed in FEMA death camps. You are not all going to die.


Like it or not, there are some smart people in Government and they are going to work this thing out eventually. That doesn't mean that happy days and new cars and trucks and 12,000 SQ FT homes are around the corner, but it does mean that eventually, with time, we will come out of this, but there will be much pain in the mean time but the world will continue to move forward and eventually we will rise out of it.

What sort of pain? Lost jobs and all that goes with that.

However, realize that the biggest PAIN will come from Generation X and Y needing to readjust their lifestyle to one that is simpler. This isn't a bad thing. Do we really need to buy new cars every 7 years? No. Do we really need $300 Designer T-Shirts? No. Do we need to spend $60 a week on Xbox games? No.


Sigh.


Look, if the world is going to go to hell in a hand bag, we are all in it together. We are all in the same boat and we are all going to suffer, period. Nobody will be left unscathed, rich or poor, prepared or not. The so called survivalists will quickly find people battering down their homes and beating their smug heads in with bats and taking their food. Those who bought a few seeds and think they can survive growing pumpkins in the back yard are also in for a rude awakening.

If anybody wants fear, I can spread it by telling you that the simple fact is, if the world goes to hell, the chances of "surviving it" are about 1 in a million and it will all be based on luck, preparations are going to do little to make a difference in the long run.



If the end is coming, then I welcome it because it is obvious the world needs a good cleansing. Unfortunately, it isn't coming and anybody who disagrees can read this post in 5 years and see how I am right.

The issue with the fear mongering can have quite profound consequences on the overall productivity of our lives.

Usually when people are afraid they are working from a lower level vibrational frequency. This can manifest in arguments with loved ones, confrontational experiences with strangers, and can indeed be the result of someone locking themselves into yet another karmic cycle.

Which is why i feel this issue is so important. We are living in some extremely interesting times. It would only take one glance at the "Tether Satelite incident" ( which can be found on youtube ) to come to the realisation that we are under very heavy observation by extraterestrials, and for good reason.

It is up to each one of us to decide how we must live our lives. But know this, every single person has the ability to cause a profound difference to someone elses life, be they a stranger or a loved one. This is done through communication. What you write now could very well be the catalyst for someone to loose their mental faculties and do something that could have terribly negative implications on their incarnational cycle.

There is much fear around, but you cannot change this fear by aknowledging it and spreading it to other people. To affect any change in this department if it is someones inclination, they must counter the negativity with positivity.

We have much more to loose then just this single incarnation. Although we are infinite and have 'all the time in the world' ,im quite sure that most people would rather hasten their spiritual evolution rather then delay it through continualy exposing themselves to the negative aspect of polarities.

No fear here, yeah there is alot of doom and gloom here but it doesn't phase me. I look at most of it and laugh, knowing I'm going to be just fine. You really have to stand up and be strong, not weak and powerless.Don't ever follow someone who thinks they know everything, for they will lead you in the wrong direction everytime. I follow no one and use my intuition as a guide.Again, no fear here, just decisions to make.

Stop complaining about fear and doom and gloom people.

The mere fact that it still is a subject that like a jojo keeps reapearing, is because there is a gigantic mental hook in people and everytime it is yanked, people "react" to it like a kneejerk reflex...

First of all there is only "info" and you, or better "info" and how YOU or the bias in your memeset LET/ALLOW you to react to it.
If the only constant reaction is "FEAR" you have to work on something inside you, for example WHY the only answer you constantly come up with is 'FEAR"!

In one tread we are all "protected", In the other we have constant fear or reasons to fear something.. According to a Chinese proverb, Fear is a sewer with 10,000 entrances. Make up our minds people.. Do we want to put our heads in the ground pretending nothing is wrong in this reality, because some "might" fear KNOWING what the hell is wrong? We are not making this reality, Some are, they even claim for the responsibility to do so, while we study it.,
They are responsible for what you FEAR, not the messengers who tell you what is wrong.

I personally think the biggest problem we have is: Generation Z(zzzzz) and WAKING them up, But Is it really our task to keep picking and roasting coffee beans to enable them to smell the coffee?
