Default Quetions For Buzz Aldrin

On Thursday 2 July 2009 Newsnight will have an interview with Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin and we want your suggestions of what questions we should ask him.

Forty years on from the Apollo 11 mission what do you want to know from the man who joined Neil Armstrong on that historic first landing on the surface of the Moon?

Send your question suggestions to [email protected]

Put Buzz in the subject heading.

We will select the best ones and put them to Buzz Aldrin at the interview which will be broadcast on Newsnight on Thursday 2 July 2009 at 10.30pm on BBC Two, then made available for international viewers on the Newsnight website.

Im think if enough people ask the 'right' quetions they may ask

How about something subtle like - Hey Buzz, when you were on the moon or in space did you ever see anything that looked out of place??

Default Re: Questions For Buzz Aldrin

Hi iainl140285,

Thanks for the heads up. I sent the following e-mail:

Subject: Buzz
From: [email protected]

Priority: Normal

Hi People,

I would like to ask Buzz Aldrin if he ever identified the 'small white
object' on the Moons' surface after lift off from the Moon.

Several astronauts said that they have forgotten what it was like from
when they were on the Moon. Does he remember, does he know why the other astronauts forgot, or was the "I forget" answer just to try and get people to stop asking the same question of "What was it like on the Moon"?

Edgar Mitchell in recent interviews said that Alien beings and craft exist
despite the fact that he has NEVER seen one. Has Buzz Aldrin ever seen an
Alien craft or being?

Why can't American artifacts like Moon Rovers or lunar landing gear be
seen on the Moon, even though mapping the Moon surface is done regularly?

Thanks for the opportunity.

Best regards,

Steve Allen
