![]() ![]() Every year on the 1st of January I cast the I Ching. I do this in order to know what lesson I 'll have to learn along that year for me to grow as a Spiritual being. A few years ago, I don't remember the hexagram which came forward but I remember very well the lesson I learned from it. Something very challenging happened in my life during that year for which I would only know the outcome a couple of month later. This was a very highly stressing situation . This life on Earth is my last one as I know I'll not return here later. I make it therefore a point of honor to fullfil my cycles to the best of my abilities so that when the time comes I can leave the body with a light heart and clear thoughts. In other words I really want to be done with my karma. Somehow living every moment as if it was the last one, is a great teacher too. The current situation I was in was a real burden . However it suddenly downed on me to adopt an attitude of least resistance towards the matter and accept it as it was. That allowed me to let go of all fears and in the end what could have been a gruesome outcome resolved beautifully . That year through the light of the I Ching , I discovered Karma resolves by embracing it in a positive way. By letting it be just as it comes. Karma goes on endlessly when you resist it or try to escape from it.It actually keeps coming back to you until you greet it in acceptance and let go of it. There is'nt really a necessity to analyse and understand the specific reasons for something " bad " or " good "coming your way. Although this might be usefull too. Just accepting with no judgement and take 100% responsability for whatever comes to you short circuits it, and is sufficient to allow it to untangle naturally. I found that lesson beautifull and ever since I have applied myself to lead my daily life on these premises. Life is much easier when one accepts who one is and where one is at any given moment. Whatever comes in your life hold it in your heart and take it as a blessing. This allows you to be free of the mind control power and to live in the " NOW ". By living in the Now you learn to live from your heart and from your soul. You appreciate every moment of your life. Living from the heart and from the soul is the greatest purpose of existence. Love is your essence. This relates to the art of Aikido. See below: Art of Peace # 50 The Art of Peace is the principle of nonresistance. Because it is nonresistant, it is victorious from the beginning. Those with evil intentions or contentious thoughts are instantly vanquished. The Art of Peace is invincible because it contends with nothing. Art of Peace # 51 There are no contests in the Art of Peace. A true warrior is invincible because he or she contests with nothing. Defeat means to defeat the mind of contention that we harbor within. Has anyone here encountered something similar to me ? Please feel free to share this . kindness mudra |

My dear mudra..
What comes karma... I have realized that its a result of your desire.... You put your self jail and blaim karma being jailor but you created it.. With others who saw it usefulness... Unlimited soul limits it self and taste the struggle, enlightment and freedom.. Vedas say its a lila = a play, past time... So ride with it... ![]() kf |

Thank you, mudra, for sharing your experiences.

I have two questions: First, would you mind elucidating a little bit more what you mean by Quote:

And second (not so important), may I ask which translation you find helpful for your work with the I Ching? There are so many different translations and I am still looking for one that resonates with my own experiences. Thank you, love and blessings, |

Thank you for coming down onto this tread. It's a good feeling to have souls shining their light and peace here. As regard your questions: "Karma resolves by embracing it." This means : when you go against events of your life you are using force and force builds ridges. The force comes from the mind the ego which is then allowed to be stronger than you . Force engenders more force . When you embrace events of your life you are using Love and love untangles things as Love is who you are in your essence. Love engenders love Life is much easier when one accepts who one is and where one is at any given moment." That means not worrying or longing for the past as well as not worrying or longing for the future. You can then remain into the now and be free from your mind, your ego. Being outside the now is what makes life an unfriendly place to be. The now is where you belong.Past and future are only considerations. The I ching which I found is meaningfull to me comes from this site: http://www.tarot.com/oracle/ The drawings I did there have always been accurate and inspiring to me. And I also have the following book which is very simple and clear: The I Ching workbook from R.L Wing Aquarian press ISBN 0-85030-372-9 Kindness mudra |

Hello again Mudra
thank you for your sharing. Since I became aware that I am in a spritual process (eveyone is) I have been able to witness events happen in "my" life in a detached sort of way. My hobby was sailing racing dinghys and I loved the thrill and excitement. There is an expression "Your brother your killer" or that which gives you joy gives you pain. So I was swimming in the Indian ocean, a beautiful calm sea. Out of nowhere a very large wave crahed on me and sent me to the bottom in about 20ft of water. , I hurt my shoulder badly, I dident even get a chance to draw breath, I surfaced and immediately same again, I just made it to the surface when I was hit by yet another wave and again hit the bottom, by now I was in a bad way. I just relaxed totally and said to God well if this is it so be it. I floated to the surface -- all was still again and I was rescued by two lifeguards. If I had fought, strugled against what was then would I have drowned? I dont know but there was no fear throughout. Its all karma That which you resist persists. Like you Mudra I know this is my last incarnation at least in this world as it is now, 5th dimension I dont know about that. With love Chris |

I have begun using the I-Ching intensely for the past few months.
It has not yet let me down, and the wealth of the knowledge I receive is beyond measure! I hope to see you all on the other side. Take care! |

Thank you friends for sharing your Light here.
Greabeard I like your story. Hope many will read this and get inspired. This is pure food for the soul and it's so good ![]() Abstractvisions I totally agree with the I-Ching never letting you down. This is Spirit speaking to you in a straight way. Many years ago my ex husband and I had to take an important decision. We both consulted the I-Ching and came up with the exact same hexagram as regard our question. This was a powerfull experience ! Kindness mudra |
