I felt inspired to create this thread to bring together people who may be looking for a little star-inspired romance! If you are a single and want to meet people of like mind, here is a place to do it. Please state your stats honestly and enjoy...
Now, I am happily married. So this will be my last post here. ![]() But, I am one of the lucky ones who has a husband who is also Ground Crew. This is rare. I know a lot of you out there who have been finding it difficult to find like minded partners. Why not try here? Ok....I'll throw my hat in the ring also.........female, divorced, late 50's.....where are all the great guys in my age group
![]() Changed my mind, I withdraw my hat. This thread has turned into a state of confusion. Too many mixed messages from some posters. My apologies to wormhole, I thought this actually might be a serious opportunity to connect with a potential partner of like mind, but I feel the thread has been hijacked. Single here and when asked by friends if I needed a woman or even a man, I declined. I need no one. I'm simply not interested in pursuing romance or anything with anyone. I attribute it to years of letdowns and broken hearts.

a let-down implies an eXpectation
perhaps, it is wise, to let them, find you if you are eXactly what they are looking for perhaps, there will be NO let-down and, if it is your heart, that has been broken - at least, you know, you have a heart - that can feel ![]() that is a great thing of value to have, and, to hold the best thing is, that it is only good when it is active and, it only getting better, when it is shared it starts, i think, with sharing your lower self with your higher self and, when you have forged that connection PURRhaps then, you are ready for someone else to enter the equation i would rather be happy and alone than be with another, that does NOT make me happier i think another, can simply make us, happier NOT happy remember anything that is good that is shared, is NEVER halved, but doubled love / susan the eXchanger (i have been single for 50 years) |

look for those, they think, they can pull wool over their eyes, since you are single it's a good sign, as, it is quite apparent, you do NOT keep others around that do such things you may attract them... however, it appears, you repeal them, equally well that is what is called doing "good work" ![]() love / susan the eXchanger |

I think they should add a box some where that you tick so all of us can tell if you are male or female. Thats not revealing too much, is it?

this meeting people online
is actually, pretty strange, and, can also be pretty weird people using webcams ... half naked / or completely naked and, think cause they are doing that, you too should also join them, in doing it too ![]() (that isn't going to happen) (the old statement-- fair is fair, you see me, and, now, i should see you) (like monkey see, monkey will do) and, chat lines, that show others that have an eyeball on your computer, however, do you really want to give someone a birds eye view of you & your home, that you do NOT know ??? i also wonder if anyone else, can see you, without it turned on ??? also, i have had people send odd things i once had a guy from wales, a professional photographer, who was quite an interesting guy, however, i suppose, when his brain ran out of things to talk about, he started sending me photos of other women, he was photographing, in a sideline business of his, and, i am sure, they would NOT have appreciated him, sending these shots, to others ... and, then, shortly after, him starting to do that he actually send 3 shots of his member aka his privates and, although they were good shots i actually NEVER responded back to him as, i felt, he likely sent this to a lot of different women, and, it had the exact opposite reaction, i am sure, that he thought it would have, as, it actually totally shut me down ... i am sure, he thought, sending those 3 photos of himself, would have had the exact opposite reaction and, had me running towards him, instead, i figured, if that is all he thinks of himself to send pictures of himself totally nude to others, esp. me, who he didn't really know, who else does he send these types of picture too ??? it is a strange world, as, it is, online, perhaps, it is even stranger women do like nice guys i often hear nice guys say, women are NOT interested in nice guys however, maybe it is only the nice guys, who finish in the end on the topic of online dating sites... i think a lot of busy people utilise them, so, they do NOT feel lonely, or, can have their hands in 101 cookie jars, at the same time perfect a form letter--and, you are set ![]() yesterday, i went out, to check out some local places to have a meeting... and, it was quite obvious who the people where, who were meeting people for the 1st time from online dating sites my friend elaine, and, i, had some very good laughs !!! love susan the eXchanger |

Online dating? never! I just need to find someone with money so I can stay home. Not because I'm lazy, but I love to cook and grocery shop and all that good stuff.Hmmm I guess I would make someone a good husband, oops I mean boyfriend. LOL! I'll never say the M word, as in marriage.

Interesting point that Henners raises, i'm always thinking that posts are from men when i finally discover they're from a woman, and posts i think are from women are from men.....hehehehe - but this is the first internet forum i've ever particpated in so i guess i'm just not clued up enough!
I "deconstructed" my life a short while ago, let everything go, including shaving my hair hahaha but its a natural process when your consciousness or vibration changes, you simply can't stay where you were. I'm not sure where things will go from here, except i know that the world we create is a mirror of our thoughts, so you will attract into your life the same vibration. Something exciting is always just around the corner...... |

I must correct my original post by adding that even though I am not interested, I still long to find someone that I can connect with. For some reason, it's not easy to find time to do so with the kind of schedule I put myself through.
Certainly not bitter but at a point where I want people more than I need them. |

Hey HJ, how did you come up with the name "humble janitor"? I really like it, its one of the best "pen" names i've come across, near perfect! Its such an ego-free concept....you see egos everywhere, even on the avalon forum! I used to do seminars with top business guys and i always started with a section on egos and how ego-based decisions can wreck viable companies...well, i'm out of all that now...phew! best, Piers

I am a single woman and I would like to hear from a single Avalon man about my age (64), in a private message...
Thanks, Wormhole, for this. |
