Contentious Israeli censorship

Following up on yesterdays post "Is Israel Controlling the Internet" today we will learn about Israel’s Government and the IDF attempting to censor and control the internet, face book, you tube and many other social networks, blogs, message boards and news organisations.

I find this very disturbing - that a political movement can demolish free speech in such a fervent fashion. Agreed, some of the removed sites were offensive, but anything criticising the actions of a country doing dreadful things to oppressed minorities being removed is just not on.

I don't talk about my views on Israel with any of my friends as I know a few that would be offended because they are likely unaware of the Zionist regime that controls Israel.

I'm not surprised that they'd be involved in censorship activities.

Why are folks tiptoeing? Why are they not now aware after Gaza?
Why can't we even talk to our friends??? I can to mine (Jewish and Arab/Palestinian backgrounds), and the discussion about history went ballistic, so we all agreed to do our own historical research (without bias) and the outcome is that we are still bestest of friends. We know we are one and the PTB want to destroy us. Although media prompting may change things, the political puppets are still being used by the PTB to play one off against the other in their 'endgame'.
The best thing? Read MainStreamMedia, then look at the alternative MSM across the globe. Definitely biased in the Western Media groups.
