This could be the beginning of something wonderful..
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...russia-georgia I'm not holding up much in the way of high hope here as the Guardian has yet to put this on the front page. |

Hi AndyH,
Great post. Very informative. The reporter seems to have ruffled a few feathers! Stories like this rarely make it to the front page unless a country is openly slapped in the face. Popular British newspaper media is more interested in Dave Beckhams' haircut than what goes on behind the doors of No. 10. It's up to people like us to keep digging for this info, of course we get it second hand also, and get it out to those who still don't know. Good work. Best regards, Steve Quote:

Great post!
And who's "reckless" David Miliband? About time, a decent report for once after that fiasco of western outlashing against russia. |

Milliband at Chatham House. "And the hard power...harder power of our military and economic incentives" < 4min 24sec into that video ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chatham_house Read it and weep. Notice how he sounds just like Tony Blair? He even has the same voice. He will succeed Brown as the next Labour party leader or Prime Minister. *cue darth vader march music* lol. |

I've believe all along that Georgia was the aggressor and not Russia. Of course, it's more convenient for western media to blame Russia, due to decades of anti-communist propaganda (though communism fell with the fall of the USSR).

I semi-remember seeing news items similar to this after the initial fall out but they were most probably in the online sections of papers that don't make it to the physical print...
I've disliked Miliband since his Defra days and thankfully, he doesn't seem to have the brain power Blair has although he has the ambition and he probably wont need the brain cells since he'll unlikely be pulling his own strings. However, he might have it but just not the gift of the gab - something that Cameron has gotten better at since his sparring partner became Brown. |

I knew this all along, but nobody would listen to my opinion and they probably still don't believe something like this because they heard the propaganda so many times that they can't switch to this truth anymore.
You can look at the Georgia Russia war with all the historic info, but when you look at what actually happened this year, Georgia started it with the help of Uncle Sam. |

At times they do produce some gems, but the MSM has been very much lacking decent stuff of late. Panorama and Horizon had some fantasic docs for example but of late it's been individuals like Greg Palast who have been making a real impact. It's very difficult for people to point at the BBC and say "oh that's just a conspiracy"..if you get my drift. |

Saakashvili is just another warmonger. He, under instruction started this whole affair under the instruction's of the shrub(BUSH) and that little mongrel (chaney). These types of people? are easily bought with promises of big fat swiss bank accounts. They care nothing about the misery they cause to there own people. To allow these countries to become part of NATO would be a disaster for the rest of the world because to be quite honest they cant keep their guns in their holsters, violence is the only language they understand unfortunately.I watched Saakashvili with beads of lying sweat running down his face when trying to convince the world that they where being bullied by the Russians.I have no love of russia or the BBC. who are very selective about what they show, but at the same time dont want to upset the people that pay the licence fee, i have absolutely no faith whatsoever in any of the big networks.I wouldn't be surprised if they didnt all have BIG FAT SWISS BANK ACCOUNTS!!!!LOL

Agreed. I've wondered out loud a few times, we used to get him and Bill Oddie, now it's just... I like the way he addresses multiple issues of how we are effecting the Earth, people tend to focus purely on carbon emissions and also don't acknowledge the difference between human driven earth changes and natural climate change. |
