Default Breathing and Spirit...

I hope I can convey this, because this is an excellent way to connect with spirit. Atleast in my experience. My goal isnt to preach... take this for what it is worth. I am not talking from a book I have read, but from my experience. I would also like to know if any one of you have any special breathing techniques for connecting with spirit. Some of these I have learned... others I just do as I go because they feel good. This is also my first post on connecting.

So here we go... I personally have found that it doesnt matter if I am sitting, or walking... or even driving. It feels very good, relaxing, and strengthens my connection with spirit. It can become a sugary sweet feeling that can encompass the entire body.

I like to keep it simple... first I look within, and see what I feel like doing. My goal is not force myself to anything... because when I force myself, I am going against my spirit... especially when my goal is to connect.

Next... I set the intention to connect with spirit, and thank spirit for connecting with me and making me feel amazing. Even if I dont at the time, I know that it will happen very soon... and it has yet to fail me. I use visuals of light flowing through me... or breathing the glowing spirit in. I visualize it in my veins with each breath... and on each exhale I visualize spirit growing deeper in my veins. These are just examples that work for me... use what every helps you to feel good about connecting with spirit. It could be visualizing a bath of spirit.... anything.

The visualisations are important because this aids spirit in understanding what we want, and the feeling is important because only when it feels good are we aligned with spirit.

I make sure that my back is fully erect, I find the energy flows when the back is straight. Next I make sure that I take breaths that fill my lungs up, starting from the stomach... all the way to the top. I dont rush it... I do what feels good. I prefer to breath through my nose, and exhale through my mouth.

Some times I hum when exhaling... sometimes I breath out through my nose. Again what ever feels good.

I also like to breath in gratitude... I give thanks each breath for something in my life that I appreciate. This aids in the good feelings... sometimes I do it, sometimes I dont. Its all about feeling good, so dont force it. After awhile my mind clears.... and everything flows... I dont have to do anything but breathe at this point. Everything feels good... and blissfull.

If there is another thing I have noticed about myself, its that I do not feel well when I am not breathing strongly. When my breaths are shallow... and fast I am stressed. I pay strong attention to this now... and always correct it.

I am sure many of you know this, or have heard this stuff before... or read about it time and again. But it can be a very significant tool to connecting with spirit.
