Some rich professionals are totally asleep.

Well, this evening I got dragged off to Melbourne by husband and his brother who wanted to listen to financial experts tell us how we can negative gear property and pay off our own house faster. Looking around the room, everyone was totally fascinated and locking in advisors at the end to come and talk to them about how they too can be property millionaires.

I felt like jumping up and saying "Are you nuts, don't you really listen or look for anything about what is really going on in the world at the moment". But I didn't, I would have been dragged out by husband and given another lecture about how nuts I am and embarrassing him.

I keep telling him (he already has two negative geared houses already) besides our own place, and he is looking to get another one down the line, Oh yes, got to have enough money to retire with in another 10 or 11 years. Yeah right says me. I am sure most don't have a clue.

Of course the presenter was telling us he has 23 residential properties and 10 commercial properties plus a couple of real estate agencies all around the state and he is a multi, multi millionaire and only 43. Well, okay I understand that, fine if you want to do it.

I really worry about the state of people's minds at the moment. Are they really that totally unaware.
