Default Need a Question Answered About U.S. Gov't Bonds

Ben Fulford has a new blog and I'm reading a post on it dated December 28, 2009.

In the post he states, "However, the real purpose was to cash $250 billion worth of 1930’s vintage U.S. government bonds that are backed by Chinese Imperial gold stashed in the Philippines."

My question is how can U.S. government bonds be backed by Chinese Imperial gold?

I can't answer your question... but the bold part I find interesting.

Long term vintage bonds have no end date so just create interest. It is basically a way of amplifying your wealth if you know how to use them (or lose money very quickly if not)... (listen to Andy Gause - 1radionetwork on wednesday)

If someone invests $100,000 in long term bonds when the interest rates are 3%... when the interest rates are 9% they will need to buy 3 times as many bonds to get the same return so Their investment is now (when interest is 9%) only worth $33,333 !!!!....

Wealth has been lost...

Now if I reverse the senerio and when interest rates are 9% I invest in $100,000 in long term vintage bonds (at 9%) then when the rates fall again back down to 3% when I cash my bonds in they are worth $300,000!!!!

Wealth has been multiplied...

reading the BOLD above means "they" know rates will inflate or hyper inflate soon ... If you have a mortgage, now is a very good time to fix your mortgages and buckel up for the interest rate rises which are due to steal properties from those unaware AND to "devalue" the bailouts etc and make people in the know A LOT of money.... I'm sure they have more than the $100,000 in my example above...

Now is a good time to invest in gold / silver as fundamentally it is a limited resource and will counter the inflation about to sweep the globe... when interest is 10 - 15% that will be the time to sell gold/silver and by these vintage bonds.

Andy Gause really explains it a lot better than me and covers many other topics which clarify the "crisis" quite well...
