Advice on a decision

Still wrapping my head around a lot of things that are happening, but I have an opportunity to go back to school from april to august in Vancouver. Would it be too late to risk being in a large city with a collapsing economy close to occurring.

Really not sure how to go about this, I want to continue with school, but I really don't want to be living in downtown Vancouver when everything starts to happen.

see yourself being held safely, while doing it

it will 'be a breeze' if you just trust your heart

Well, it's to continue a course I haven't completed. I am not sure if I like the job anymore, but I'm also being pushed to continue it so I have a better than minimum wage job. The thing that's freezing me here though, is wouldn't all this be pointless in some sense? By the looks of it, I've got some other things I'll end up having to deal with if the economy falls, and that seems to be some time this year near the summer....

dont focus on the fear- focus on what the positive energies can bring to you - so you can then output positive energies to others you come in contact with...

Sue has it bang on Stay the course, I am 50 years down the road and wish I was still in full time school. If only I had known then, yada yada yada.

I think, if you are still willing to be educated, You will make out fine.

Do it ! Four months is nothing !
Imagine being stuck in a horrible wage-slave job for years waiting for the end of time to happen.
And then it doesn't happen.
Or even if a tidal wave comes and sweeps you off the campus and out to sea...
Better that than the tidal wave sweeping you out from an unhappy low-wage situation.
Or that you get to the end of your four months and realise that you quite liked it and might hang around for some more.

Several times over the past 5 years I have read or heard information regarding impending doom, gloom and catastrophe. I made my preparations, warned close friends and colleagues and sat by waiting for something to happen. Of course nothing did happen so my advice to you would be to go about your life as normally as possible, stay positive and meet any challenges if and when they come.

I was just talking about Canada yesterday. This guy's daughter will move to Quebec soon.

I think Canada is, unless I missed something, one of the safer nations economy wise. Nowhere near as bad as the UK nor US. I'm sure it has its' problems but nothing too alarmist has made it to my neck of the woods so far. In fact I read somewhere that life is so tame in Canada that adolescents go on high speed driving games, with their cars in reverse gear?!

You're talking about a few months, which suggests you are finalizing your course, ready for your final exams. Am I right?

Don't let what is going on in the world take those few months and the whole course away from you. If this is the final part of your course, you owe it to yourself to complete it, as you will be asking yourself for the rest of your life, "What if......?"

Yep , I'll verify what Steve said, Canada is in much better shape and in my opinion much a humble nation of down right good people, I spend alot of time in canada and have many friends there . I ride my bike to a charity event way in the north. They raise 70,000 dollars in one weekend for cancer research. All bikers.

Chris go with your intuition. I always say if you ever put a picture on the wall, you always stand back away from it so see if it's straight on the wall. Once you walk away you close your eyes and when you open your eyes, whats the first thing you see? Not the color, not the size, not whats in the picture, but if it's straight or crooked. No emotions in the decision just a decision. Apply that to yours if you wish.

As for the gloom and doom, hey there was a 6.4 quake in indonesia this weekend and a 4.4 this morning in L.A. So were on the march. This shift isn't going to be like the 2012 movie but in some pockets on the earth there will be some suprizes. If you move just have an emergency back up plan and roll with it. But of course only you can make the decision . Good Luck.

If you are not sure about your career maybe the best course of action is to ask yourself: if you could only chose to do one thing in life, what will that be?

Even if it sound outrageous, sometimes we do things out of preasure from family and friends and that will never work because soner or later you will be fed up and disilusioned
