Default I keep smelling something

I don't know if there is something with my olfactory system or brain or what, but almost every morning for the past few weeks when I wake up I smell something sweet like a cross between frankincense, honey/beeswax candles, and rosemary. It certainly is not coming from the kitchen. Does anyone have a clue what that is?

Are these scents associated with any family or friends
in your recollection? Specifically deceased?

I know someone who smelled roses which was associated
with her deceased grandmother..

No... I know the frankincense/honey combo can be found in orthodox churches, but I had to smell everything in the supermarket in to figure out the rosemary part.

That must have been something to see

What you may be experiencing is a kind of apparition, where instead of an "image" being the primary mode of experience, it is a smell.

Some people have waking visions - my Dad used to smell honeysuckle, he thinks that this was a waking visitation from his aunt, it used to happen when I was around.

Another possibility I can think of is when you are waking up, your conciousness is moving back into the regular Space/Time "waking" realm from the Time/Space "dream time" realm - perhaps you are being lucky enough to be aware for a moment, of the realm you are leaving with your most attuned sense.

This could also be a sign of more of your psychic powers coming on-line.

A..

In my spiritual path, certain scents are associated with the presence of the ECK Masters near us. It is a type of blessing to remind us of the presence of the messengers of GOD with us. For Example, Sandalwood may represent Rebezar Tarz

Why exactly is this relevant to anything that is going on in this forum?

I'll try to explain it to you. Many, many people are finding their perceptions stretched, so that they are experiencing things that may seem eerie or even frightening, depending on their background. As we find ourselves able to perceive energies and entities that were previously invisible to us, one natural consequence of the process is a growing awareness that part of this growth is spiritual in nature.

It may be that this has not happened to you yet. If you've dug very far into many of the threads, especially in the Spirituality Forum but in the General Discussion too, you have surely encountered many stories of people's encounters with all kinds of unusual manifestations. This is an indication, solid evidence if you will, of people's waking up from the coma of the last 100 years or so. As your own awareness increases, you'll find it easier to accept people as you find them, and understand that things manifest to each of us in unique ways.

Thanks for the suggestions. I kinda had a clue this either had something to do with either a presence of some sort, or else I'm tuning in to something else entirely. I know Roman Catholics believe that the smell of roses accompany the virgin Mary, but I didn't know if there was any associate "meaning" behind the combination of smells I was experiencing. Who knows?

I also have been smelling something. It smells like a dryer sheet, like somebody is doing the laundry. Now, it may be that somebody actually IS doing the laundry, but I don't feel comfortable going to all my neighbors to ask about that, or sniffing around their houses.

I'm more concerned that this is something chemtrail related ... not to raise a real negative thought here, but this smell happens any time of day and sometimes at night. Then, bizarrely, I smelled it when I opened my big outdoor trash can, the one the county picks up once a week. The smell was very strong in there, but I have very little trash and nothing that would smell like a dryer sheet. I don't have a dryer and wouldn't use the sheets anyhow.

This may be way off the mark for this thread. If so, just ignore!
