Default SPIRITUAL COACHING and TRAINING

If we are going to make it out of this plane of existence to higher more awakened planes of vibration/thought, even self-sufficient loners like myself need a spiritual coach. A spiritual coach entrains one to practice what the sages teach.

From personal example, I know one can go further faster by enlisting the time and expertise of a spiritual coach.

Who is your spiritual coach, or who would you like to intend your spiritual coach to be like?

For example, one can know the technology of Judo, read about Judo, watch Judo, but if one never works with a personal coach in the classroom one is not a "Judo-kid" LOL!

Teachers, are very necessary and so are spiritual coaches.

Who is yours?

Yes, when I made myself ready I found my progression of teachers. When I was ready I found my spiritual coach(es). I knocked and the door was opened. I asked and I received. I sought and I found.

peace,

You can do better than me. You could do worse, but you can definitely do better. Thanks for lending the good cheer. On that laughing note I'm tucking in for the night.

Without sounding arrogant in this issue, but I must say that I am my own perfect spiritual coach. There's no one better to find! And this is true for all of YOU too.

Not because that I am all knowing, best educated, totally awakened individual...NO! I am not. I still learn, and there's so much more to learn about.

But please consider that we're not talking here about Judo, carate, football coaching, which purpose is, when practicing properly and WITH an educated coach, to improve the body activities...

We're talking here about a SPIRITUAL coaching...which is INSIDE of us. So if I decide to "hire" a spiritual coach, I will only copy his/her approach and path.

And this would lead me to be a "follower" and not an explorer and creator.

This forum (and maybe some other too) are perfect places to learn and educate ourself without any danger of becomming a follower.

I just take what I find appropriate, what resonates with me and with my inner knowledge...and ignore the rest.

It's simple as that.

with respect

I respect your path.

Yes, it is important even when working with a spiritual coach to for oneself know the laws and axioms that govern us as beings in this universe. One of the laws of this universe is that it is a two-terminal universe and that is perhaps why Jesus said, "Where two or more are gathered together...." Even witches know that law and obey it with great success. It is simply a law not to be ignored by most.

Always there will be the one who is different. But, beware of the peculiar traps of one's own western-style, left-brain education which egoizes on fixed opinions, and represses the right brain acquired truths. These are analogies for the spiritual being's way of processing things.

If you look around you you will see many people getting together quite successfullly to perform their meditations. Also the most successful "followers" of EFT are those who form support groups and work together.

In working with my spiritual coach I never think of myself as a "follower". A good spiritual coach would not encourage that. He is definitely assisting me to focus and to set aside the time and space to do my spiritual work, which I probably would otherwise be distracted from in my current environment.

For example, today he wanted to work with me in a different direction and we talked about it for one hour before I finally decided I would give it a try. Once I did give it a try I was very happy and thankful that he helped me to overcome my initial resistance. The western educated mind WILL resist it's own betterment in many cases.

If my personal trainer told me to lift 150 lbs in two sets of 4 reps, I might groan, but I would do it because I know he's right. Would I do it without him there to "make" me? Knowing myself, NO!!

And I get to pay for that muscular gain :-) I love my personal trainer Is there any olympic athlete who did not have a personal trainer in addition to his own huge will and intent. Of course it is a co-involvement, a co-create. Do I "guruize" my trainer? I guess I could if I wanted to.

The rule this operates on is that two minds can overpower the subconscious resistance to self-betterment, until my own mind and spirit is freed up enough to go it solo. And even then I would check in with someone periodically to make sure I'm not running away from confronting some "demon" in my subconscious. Those "demons" always turn out to be tadpoles anyways

The analogy of judo and body entrainment still applies to spiritual practices and processes -- as below so above, and vice versa. There is nothing "holy" about it where the rubber meets the road. "Holiness" is the result that all these enlightened book writers are trying to convey to you, but even they had their own personal spiritual trainers. It is a necessary component until one does arrive at the state of being where they can commune with their Higher Selves and process from within and without amongst their own 4D and up community.

At that point, when I arrive there I will say goodbye to my spiritual coach. It will be a graduation point, and I am glad to see you are graduated, if you truly are and are not just fretting about being a "follower".

with compassion and joy,
gnosis

There are a lot of these types in the South West of England. They generally charge a lot of money for workshops and one on one stuff. Their blurb is generally always the same. Bored middle class women are normally their fodder. Personally I fing their boasts vague and nothing special. If I need a spiritual coach I would rather read some Buddha or Krishna, or Blavatsky. Its free and a lot more original.

Your generalized biases against certain groups are too obvious to bother to correct.

Please notice that I am differentiating between a teacher (you buy a book and read it and use the teachings to help yourself make good personal changes) and a "rubber-meets-the-road spiritual trainer or coach.

Whoever your favorite author/teacher is, if you had the chance to spend a month having him work with you using the same processes he used to get where he is at that he can write such a book, would you pass it up?

As far as prices go I have seen spiritual coaches/trainers charge anywheres from $25 up to $300 per hour or per session. The one I know who used to charge $25/hour was one of the best and most intuitive trainers I have experienced.

I did have to forsake middle-class style materialism in order to gain exponentially growing soul self-awakeness and awarenesses and higher truths -- oh, that hurt... no more television!?! no more shopping malls?!?! Please, quick, send the medics, I'm having a Mall Attack!!

Of course it does help to have a rich and loving husband: Breathe my smoke, laggards

Hi
Think it depends on your spiritual energy and end goal.
Dr David Hawkins has developed a map of consciousness.

http://www.veritaspub.com/

Thats his publishers website.

He teaches that we all have an individual level of verifiable spiritual energy.
Can be checked by Kinesology testing, as can other things, as long as the question is integretous.

For example on his scale of consciousness Jesus, Krishna, The Buddha all calibrate at 1000, enlightenment 600, unconditional love 540.
He states that as long as a teacher calibrates over 200, the level of integrity, then thats a valid teaching.
Also he maintains in the book "Truth versus Falsehood" that it is essential you test the level of the teacher because you are trusting your soul to them.

A student at a calibrated level of 400, the intellect, would relate to a teacher in the 400,s well but might have problems with a teacher in the 600s
It is essential to know that one level is as good as another, it just denotes/qualifies the work to be done in this life time, the obstacles to be overcome.

If the goal is enlightenment then it is imperative to read books by those who are in that state or those who were before exiting the world. Christ, The Buddha, Krishna, more recent Nasargadatta. Ramana, Ramesh Balsekar, (Recent ones all 750)
Still of this world, Dr David Hawkins Eckhart Tolle, there will be others but there are only about thirty fully enlightened beings in the world at this time according to Dr Hawkins, awakened is not fully enlightened.

There is a situation where by proximity with the enlightened teacher there is a transference of energy vibration from auric field of the the Sage to auric field of the student. This is called also the Grace of the guru. This raising of spiritual energy will assist the student greatly.

Hawkins says devotion is due only to God, respect your teacher but dont be a devotee, it will hold you back as you have assumed an identity.
Buddha said "Put no head above your own" good advice as all are equal in the eyes of God.

Regards Chris

I am exploring self-produced laughter as a tool to dispel negative charge:

http://www.laughteryoga.org/

I tested it out a couple of nights ago and find it is best to start with "NO Reason". The reasons will then start to come up from the subconscious as pictures. Subtly and gently, negative pictures from the past drift up and then get gently washed away like sand on a beach. The laughter increases when these negative pictures start to gently rise.

Your "higher self" knows at what gradient to present the pictures to you, as long as you agree to keep up the process.

If anyone else has done this "no reason" style of laughing please let me know what happened, thank you.

love and laughter,
Gnosis

Houston, I have a problem...
Talk about needing a spiritual coach...
I need help. I am so new at this I meditate and I try to zero out my mind .... not much success. Thoughts keep invading. All I think is why I'm I such a failure at this?

I really want to be able to gain insight and I don't sense anything through meditation. Every day I'm on my quest and I find new info and insights through my efforts on the internet but I'm not getting anything through meditation.. . no big or even little epiphanies.

What am I doing wrong. You guys all have big insights. Am I mistaken about being awake?

Occasionally, I have a glass of red wine, is this polluting my system? What do I need to do to get in sync?

I'm serious,
Novice failure, Mystique

ps The truth is not for all men/women, but only those who seek it, trust me I'm seeking.

Boy, do I know what you are talking about: The first time I intentionally started meditating I actually started to feel like I was going to suffocate. Got through that somehow and now I no longer experience that phenomenon, but the thoughts do keep invading.

How long are you willing to persist until you achieve what you are seeking?

Do you have any local meditation groups? There is usually someone there who can help and they are qualified usually because they have already been through everything you are going through.

For me meditation is a long, drawn out process depending on the style of meditation. I prefer transcendental meditation.

Like learning to ride a bike, expect the beginning to be an adventure in learning and overcoming. Most clearing modalities require continuous application so choose something that you overall enjoy. Make yourself comfortable and settle in for the long haul to true awakening.

Enjoy the journey, and welcome to your new self awareness :-)

best,
Gnosis
