Default Whatever happened to Mr. Kashkari?

Recall that Paulson's man in charge of TARP was asked by the current administration to stay on until someone else could be transitioned to the job.

Well, he left in an extraordinarily quiet manner in May to become--what else--a mountain man:

Although he evidently has plans to join PIMCO in the near future.

what makes a man leave the high powered corridores of DC for a cabin retreat in the rockies? I don`t think i`d want the public knowing where i was after everything that has happened and of yet to come .

I think it's particularly telling that he headed for the hills, so to speak.

He also worked on the Webb Space Telescope as an engineer employee of TRW.
The guy seemingly came out of know where.

My first thought was he is an alien walking among us. Still not convinced he's not.

Mr. Kash&kari will be working for the government again, but this time it is with its bond firm PIMCO starting before the end of the year.
