Default Significence of dragonflies?

My mother has noticed more dragonflies than usual outside. She says that she's never seen so many at once.

We are native american but she was unaware that dragonflies are viewed as positive in native american and eastern cultures. I'm not sure if it applies to all but it's a common theme.

Does anyone else know of a better explanation? Is it an omen? She thinks someone's trying to tell us something with the hordes of dragonflies.

HJ. Its funny, but I too have noticed a lot more dragonflys this year. Just yesterday, I was studiying one that was completely red, usually they are blue. One was hovering outside my living room window this morning & I was watching it wondering if it was trying to communicate with me, because it hovered for so long. They are beautiful creatures.

The dragon-fly is the whole epic of human life lived in the four worlds of sense, emotion, thought and spirit, typed in the language of earth, water, air and fire". the Dragonfly tells us to let go of the energetic heaviness of our internal baggage ,and see the truth, because that is what will lighten us up ,and allow us to ascend into a new way of being.

A person carrying Dragonfly energy, is someone who has had an amazing struggle to give birth to their own truth, and to step fully into their personal power. Dragonfly is also symbolic of transformation. Change.:

That actually makes sense.

I also saw two cardinals, a male and a female both frolicking in a bird feeder. Nature is so beautiful when you take the time to notice it. It's nice to forget about everything else and focus on these gifts to our reality.

Hi HJ -

I saw this website (this is its portal pic) and thought of you, with all the sightings and whatnot. (It was kind of interesting to me, so far.)
