U.S. Government Exporting Own Gold, Pretending Quantity In Vaults Is Unchanged

Did U.S. Export Over 175 Million Ounces of Gold?

So, for 2007 and 2008 combined, the U.S. exported 22 million ounces of refined gold and over 154 million ounces of “compound gold.” This is more than 11 times U.S. gold mine production during those two years. In fact, this is higher than global gold mine output. Where did all this gold come from?

This amount of gold exceeds what is held by all private parties in the U.S. combined. When the U.S. government called in gold in 1933, it then melted down the coins without refining. As a result, such bars from the coin melt would have a purity of around 90 percent gold. These would not qualify for description as refined gold, but could fit the definition of compound gold.

In the past few years, several gold traders have commented that a surprising number of coin melt gold bars were being delivered in London and Zurich markets, bars which almost certainly came from the U.S. Treasury vaults.

Canadian Mint investigates missing gold

There's a mystery at the mint. The Royal Canadian Mint that is, where the search is on for a fortune in missing gold, silver and other precious metals.

The mint isn't saying exactly how much, but officials have launched an investigation and called in outside auditors in March to figure out where the missing loot has gone.

Mint spokesperson Christine Aquino told CTV.ca on Friday that a review is being conducted into the incident.

"We're waiting for the results from that review, which will be conducted in the next few weeks, and we won't be commenting further until that review is complete," Aquino said in a phone interview.

Aquino said the Mint has asked a "third party" to assist them in the investigation. Published reports say the missing metals could be worth as much as several million dollars...

How about all the gold under WTC 1 and 2? A truck was found filled with gold that did not make it out. Also what about all of the Gold in Iraq? Could that have been put on a Galaxy class military plane and brought here? Hmmm, it wasn't about oil! It as about GOLD!

I just noticed viking's Fulford snip on the Benjamin Fulford's Blog thread. According to it, there's a lot of gold owed to various countries.
