the god complex

i would like to share a story with everyone that has had me baffled but prob a resonable explanation

at the start of this year i was seeing a girl she was very christian and over time i indulged her efforts to get me to do a few things with her so i went to church and i read the bible (mostly revelations because i really like that book for some reason) and i prayed with her and over time i became very calm and aware of myself

being unsure what this was i spoke to the preist of the churce we went to and he told me it was christ ok i thought

now ill stop there and explain that i grew up with science/physics new scientist was my bible the moveing world and tech within it was all i ever knew

now after seeing the preists diplomas in physics we chatted about alot of science and religion he would say that he agrees life evolved but god was part of this and that went on for a bit and i know this might seem like it but it wasent brainwashing and i consider myself very strong minded and i was never fully convinced until this happend

my gf and i were fighting one morning and she started talking about if we should be together or not anymore (were not btw lol) and i was getting ready for work..now being a chef ive got a bit of OCD in me and i always lay my things out in order i need them for leaveing the house..from the socks i put on right up until i leave the house..

listening to her say these things upset me so she wanted me to pray with her before i left so i did and i was very heartfelt about what i said but the outlining factor was that i wanted him to show me to prove to me that we were together for a reason if i was on his path i wanted proof that there was a reason for it..and so i left

all the way down to the car and whats not in my pocket...Mr OCD...my keys...ive never forgoten my keys in my life *no joke* there always always always on me..so i go back to the house to get them and when i get in the door my gf bursts into tears and it turns out that when i left she prayed for me to come back and so i had..to get my keys..

so my question here is...was this just a simple coincidance or is there more to it than that

It could have been a coincidence...or it could have been a supernatural sign. I believe in both. The best place to find a mate is in church...even if you don't believe in God.

Synchronicity is always at work in the "background" of our lives, and this is TRUE for EVERYONE despite whatever belief-system or non-beliefs one may have.

You and me and everyone on Earth, all Human Beings have a natural Psychic ability, obviously some more attuned and capable then others.

So then, Astral Racoon, don't sell yourself short, nor give over your natural Spiritual rights as an independent Free-Spirit to anyone or any thing else. Accept that the power in the Emotions of that time became for you an opportunity, opened by your own Psyche and Spirit, and enabled you to gain the experience.

thats a nice veiw there jrod funny you should say that as i got deja vu at work today from a dream i had..man thats freaky when that happens being able to see the future without knowing its the future till it happens :S

First of all,

I was a hard-core atheist with what I thought was a pretty good scientific understanding of how things worked until somewhat less than two years ago. My view of reality has been turned on it's head and I've experienced many things that I didn't think possible, such as telepathic contact. I've also found that the divine spirit can work in subtle yet powerful ways. I'm not trying to tell anyone what to believe or not believe, but it can be very rewarding to be open to the possibility that the there is much more to the universe than what we routinely see.
