Default Focus on what you want, not on what you don't want.

The subject/title of this post is some advice that was given to someone I am close to.

Its great isn't it!

So simple.

So understanding of the problems that the "worriers" amongst us face, and yet by giving attention to that which they are worrying about, they risk making it worse!

You must be psychic, or is it like minded. I was thinking of something similar just yesterday.

What you think is what you manifest, or to put it a different way, where thought goes, the energy flows.

While the concept that thoughts can shape and create reality is a powerful concept, it’s important to acknowledge that this concept can be used for your own good or ill. Recognizing the patterns of thought that lead to unhealthy behavior can help you recognize changes that you may wish to make in your life. Recognizing patterns of thought that lead to healthy behaviors can help you reinforce and support those thoughts.

Back in my checkered past, when I was a family therapist, I used to tell my clients that worrying was the only thing that was always reinforced. If you worried about something and it happened, it was good that you worried about it, because you could be prepared, it didn't take you as a surprise. If you worried about it and it didn't happen, it was good you worried about it, because you were able to take the steps to avert it. And in many cases, the thinking was faulty in either direction.

Assessment or anticipation of the situation is not worry. It is acknowledging where things are without getting emotionally involved in it. Worry is insidious, because it allows us to remain in a perpetual state of victimhood and frequently paralyzes us into inactivity. I think assessment of where we are is important - otherwise, we can't make steps to go somewhere else. The big bugaboo, then, is the emotion attached.

Does this mean I don't worry? Nah, although I'm a lot better than I was at 30, I still can slip back into those patterns that I was brought up with ( my mom was an "excellent" worrier, and a guilt-layer par excellence). But I recognize them much faster now and can side-step them a lot sooner.

Thoughts are catalysts that make up our universe.
How about taking responsability for them and realize
that whatever the outcome we made it happen.
Once we are in the acceptance of our creations
we can than be a in a much more relaxed state where we
give space for all things to happen.
Imagine everyone taking it from there the world of dichotomies
would be lifted and there would be peace on Earth.

when we finally come to know we are our own creators ...
when we finally take responsibility for what we consciously create ...
we will then create what we want ...
and not ... what we don't ...

we'll know ... that our every thought ... every word spoken ... every sentence written ... can manifest with pure intention ...

we are coming to connect these dots in this moment ...

we ARE what we CREATE ... what we CREATE we ARE ...

IT ... is US ...
WE ... are IT ...

this is when we begin to feel oneness with all ... it is in this which we feel ... that we realize ... what we our selves focus on ... impacts all in oneness ... not just our individual selves ...

THEN ... we connect the bigger dots ... why in this world would we focus on what we don't want ... as it will only cause friction ... not just to our selves ... but for others as well ...

we then take responsibility for others ... as well as our selves ...

because we then know ... we are one ...

think positive ... good will come not only to our selves ... but to the world as well ...

thanks mudra ... for getting me started ...

Such great advice and so true!

If you want something, you can have it. I don't want more wealth or power so I don't focus on it.

I want to be able to tick off things on my mental list of "things to do" and carve a path to happiness.

If we pay attention to what makes us feel good to think about, then we are on the right track. In order to do this one must disconnect from the media and connect to the devine source of everything through meditation and giving.

Only focussing on what we think is good, is to deny your own shadow self. Everything that is happening is only archetypes of ourselves ,if we are one like we claim. This side must be embraced. The hindu say it takes two forces to churn
the milky ocean of our great mother to create the divine Elixir.
Once we realize that there is no need for desire, there will be nothing that we will want.

<< Luke 12 >>
King James Bible

22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? 25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? 26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? 27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Focus on what you want, not on what you don't want.

Then focus upon choosing this instead of wanting it.

"I choose..." etc

I would have to agree that this particular philosophy was true up until the very recent past. We all had the option of denial of Tsarsions "Shadow Self" or more commonly known as the dark side of our consciousness for our entire lifetimes. This collective denial of the shadow self resulted in the manifestation of all of the negative things in our reality. The law of attraction is the basic cause of this. Over 90 percent of what we manifest has to do with the subconscious mind where the shadow self used to preside.

However, the 3rd DNA shift is in the process of naturally purging the shadow self from our consciousness. Within the next few weeks this process will be complete for most of society. After this we will have no shadow self to deny any more. At which point focusing only on the positive will have no negative manifestations as a result.

There will be those that will hang on to the dark side of the ego they had before the purging happened. They wont want to let go of their negative side because they thought that it made them confident and empowered. It wont be denial of the negative unconscious at anymore. In order to hang onto it they will integrate it into their conscious mind. It will no longer be shadow self. It will, for these people, be who they are. As a result, these individuals will be the people that head down a negative spiral that results in them being ascended to negative 4th density. This is how the polarization of society goes down.

What is good about this whole deal I am writing of here is that after this great purging, the manifestations of our collective shadow selves will naturally fade from the power structure of our world. This is why the negative elite have been trying to do everything they could to enrage the public. They are hoping that they can get enough people so distracted that their personal dark sides don't purge out of the system. Just like most of the stuff they have tried in the recent past, this won't work the way they want either.

In order to "be" the change you want to see...one must approach life like a method actor. Behave as if everything is already in place, each moment spent seeking only delays the realization that you are already complete.
Sort of like a dog chasing his tail, he'll never catch it...but if he stops, he'll see it is already a part of him.
No matter what we choose at any given moment, we still end up 'doing' the same thing....being.

Be of Love and Light. (effortlessly)

It seems to me as if life is a grand play at times. I say that I will do something and it happens. I've noticed that a lot of things I am doing lately are not for pursuit of wealth or stature. I am slowly becoming more orientated towards service to others. I wasted so much time worrying about my own wealth and stature in life that now, it means nothing. Making more money? What for? I still want to share my life and my ideas with others and that is all I ask for and all I will do.

Again, it feels like a grand play and it honestly feels like "the end" is approaching, but not a physical end. It feels like the beginning of something beautiful and I am still struggling with how to understand it. Life now is like stepping on rocks in a pond and it's as if I've stepped on those rocks already because things happen when I put my mind to them.

I am speaking from my heart here. Something beautiful is happening and we are all actors in it.

Well put.

This is a profound post! The distinction between assessment and worry is a very important one. A surgeon must carefully assess a horrible situation with painful clarity...and not simply think happy thoughts! But assessment can mutate into the paralysis of analysis...and even into debilitating worry. The action and solution aspects of assessment are key factors in preventing 'deer in the headlights' worry. This is a subtle and tricky area! Perfectionism, Procrastination, Worry, and Guilt are a fearsome foursome! Chronic positive thinking can be denial of reality...or living in a dream world. Chronic negative thinking can also be denial of reality...or living in a nightmare world. One should probably incorporate both positive and negative thinking when formulating positive solutions. Responsibility or Response Ability should be focused upon...with a Positive twist! This will prevent assessment from becoming worry. This will result in Positive Response Ability. If only I could practice what I preach! I worry about my hypocrisy...and I am paralyzed with guilt!
