I'm not a scientist, nor do I play one on TV, but many in my family are scientists or are retired scientists from the academic side of things (as opposed to corporate). Their interest are in education, perception and neurochemistry. My interests tend towards physics, cosmology, and engineering (computers, robotics, free energy, antigravity).

You don't have to be a scientist (as in blessed with a PhD by academia) in order to do science. Often learning current scientific dogma can be an obstacle to significant breakthroughs. What are your interests/ideas?
