Only drawback is that I home record with Boss Br 900 cd recorder and there is windows/boss software on line for making it easy to add the drum part via the laptop and I cant down load to linux.
This makes adding drum parts laborious to our music.

For drum machine on Linux, i Recommend TerminatorX like drum machine
A better Ubuntu version for musician is "Ubuntu Studio" that comes with settings special for art workers, 3d digital production and Djs and musicians...
About the "version" Vega is focused on the daily work Pc user, who chats, surf internet and work with documents, download videos and end user activity.
