I dont have a mailbox. My mail is delivered through a slot in my front door. Last I checked no sticker. I live in a densely populated area and have never seen a sticker on any mailboxes.

What about people who have a PO box?

Sounds like a very unlikely tactic. Why wouldnt people just switch the sticker for one with a preferable color or just remove it?

We live in the information age. If they want to label you they will add a field to the big database and do it there. Not with stickers on mailboxes.
