I wouldnt doubt some of the claims by these people if the channeled message didnt sound like it was written by some teenager in his basement.
I also seriously doubt that et's would be speeking in english and using words like "federation."
I would assume that an advanced species would have evolved past concepts and words like federal or federation...
It is unlogical
