I have respect for my friends who homestead/raise animals for food, I just couldn't go there myself- if I decided to eat meat- I'd have to be able to kill it myself and I am not able to do that. That said- I eat fish on occasion and have fished. Have gone through many years of eating only vegan foods and after a period of time - I start to feel depleted. I like to vary things with cycles of deep cleansing and cycles of deep nourishment.....and eat seasonally.......
