Got it. The March 13th 1989 strom was 479 nanotesla/minutes. It took down the province of Quebec, not the whole Canada. Me and my family hardly noticed it since it was at 3am and the power came back at noon. We were heating the house with a wood stove at that time, so we only had to skip bacon for breakfast. That was the whole disturbance for us.
