Why not just learn it from the pro's? TRV is a trained skill, that requires you to install specific protocols into your nervous system like a reflex. Once installed it requires rigor and practice to become proficient. The rewards for having invested the time are well worth it, but this isn't something you can just "do" without training. I wish it were.
To find out the truth about it, and look at what is REALLY involved you might want to investigate the people that created the industry and took the technology out of the military.
