Also, I have found a very infomative website regarding the Codex legislation currently being pushed in the UN and EU.

The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration have stated on their website that the Codex legislation will not have an effect on the Australian health regulations on organic foods and vitamins, however, I have obtained a copy of the minutes of the 5th Codex Australia Industry Stakeholder Forum held at the Jasper Hotel, Melbourne 2008 and the minutes mention Australia's ACTIVE CONTRIBUTION AND INTEREST in the regulations. Frankly, I seriously doubt the integrity of the claim on TGA's website.

For anyone who give a rat's **** about the future of organic foods and your freedom to choose, please have a read.

I am in the process of generating a letter to the minister for health and I have contacted several natural health agencies to request for help to raise awareness in Australia.

The danger of this legislation getting introduced in this country is very real. The fact that it's done so quietly and out of the mainstream media is making it very hard to raise awareness and those who do know what's happening don't have a clue as to how to go about it. Well, I'm sick of sitting on my fat **** and watching it happen - it's time for action guys.

The complexity of the regulations is significant - you really have to read between the lines and the "legalese" they use in the documents to confuse people.

For those who have no flipping idea what I'm talking about, please take the time to have a read - or better still, please have a look at the vids I posted above.
