Default Re: St. Patrick's Day

My great , great, great grandfather fought in the civil war here in the states and was all Irish, afetr the war he walked for over 100 miles in the winter /snow with rags on his feet so he could see his family. He caught pneumonia from that and passed away a few days after he did see his family. My family!

My Irish grandfather was a professional golfer here in michigan in the 1930's, still have his wooden putter.

Ah yes a day to celebrate , there use to be an "O" before my last name , got dropped but one day it's going back on.

So I say Happy St. Pattys Day to the avalon family, Gonna have a few guiness tonight. Way to go with all the illustrations today on this thread, it's what I expected, much creativity!
