Out here in Nevada we call that "Geothermal Energy"
Pump water into a 'hot spot' in the ground and up comes steam. Turns your turbine and the water gets cooled in a cooling tower to be sent down again...
BUT while the ENERGY is FREE you still have to pay for it :P
In Paris France they have a huge incinerator... burn all the trash and heat water... makes steam for heat in Paris and generates electricity to run the plant and export the left over...
Metals are sorted by magnet and by hand and so is glass AFTER it leaves the furnace and the remaining ash is used for fertilizer
Saves land fill space, recycles AND produces FREE ENERGY...
To bad America is to STUPID to do this
