So sorry to hear about your paypal issues - I've been very fortunate - even when some yahoo in Indonesia stole my ebay account and invaded my paypal account to the tune of around $6k, both ebay and paypal did get it straightened out - eventually
I was lucky I got up at 4:00 that morning and caught the first profile change notification from ebay. I'd guess I was on it within 30 minutes of it starting.
