Oh, if the poles flips, nothing drastically will be different afterwards, its the transition and immediately afterwards where things are going to be chaotic, then things will smooth out. Boston will still be colder than say Chile being there's a lot more water in the Southern Hemisphere. However, as we all know with 2012, that could indeed change :-p
