There is a thing called responsibility, you don't need to be an adult to understand.
and if a child is welcomed into another's home just because the parents are still working doesn't mean they can't abide by simple rules like kicking off their shoes at the door.
If they leave big old muddy tracks walking around the home in their shoes do you think they will be invited back?
