With respect, I think you're over-generalising here.
Pyschoanalysis or reaching conclusions of dissassociation and schizoid behaviour takes a little more than the reading of a 'snapshot moment' post or two, no? I don't think many who find their way to Avalon are unaware of the 'daily evils' that you mention, many for a considerable number of years. If I may ask a genuine question here - apart from reading Carr's work (which I have) and let's say. acknowledging that the New Age contains some unwholesome agendas (I don't disagree with that point, by the way) what is the way forward in terms of action?
